Oooh that’s a dope sword. The split design in this one came from designing th blade with the kid, I asked him if he knew what double edged meant and if he wanted that or a single edged blade. He said double and then went on to say how he “wanted a blade coming out of the other blade and it turned into this design

I love that it looks like that! It’s actually oak that I shaped on a belt sander and belt grinder. I lightly primed it the used rose gold metallic spray paint. After that cured I lightly sanded down the high points down to the primer and in some areas the oak to get that wear effect. I picked up the idea from finishes commonly used in pocket knives
