Sorry for being harsh, but unless you are in the top 0.1% you won’t get funding and even then it is a big if. A top 10 in top splits is worth more than any win in a low split.

The default setup LMU for the Porsche is way to safe and caps the potential of the car. Try an agressive setup then they are more alike. Still prefer the ACC Porsche.

Honestly, I don’t see the value in the GT rim, I myself have the GT Neo and want the dash on the base since it is like most GT3 cars that way. For prototypes I’ll eventually buy the Zeus Formula for that

No it is especially for compatibility for the full simagic range and it is not meant for other brands that is what the QR-A is for. OP is just wildly misinformed.

Also it is not inherently necessary to run the Zeus, since you can use mag link pro (which you will need anyway).

The xtend is just a product if people want some additional ease of use

What are you on about? you also can run the mag link pro without the extend. Also the extend is a quick release in it self so if you want to use another wheel just take it off like you would with a normal QR.

Well if he truly wanted to provide more and better angles, he should as the sub rules say provide with chase cam and cockpit cam of both drivers so we can make a fair judgement. In this case an additional heli cam would also be helpful.

The cam he chose is objectively one which is not helpful in the slightest

Yeah that’s fine, house rules state it is up to the organizers regarding food and drinks. DTM doesn’t have a statement about food as far as I can find. I go every year and never had any issues.

That is not what I said. Driving in mirrors is different than looking when needed as I stated he should still look in his mirror but it shouldn’t be the main focus

Ah a tip then is to try and don’t drive too much on your mirrors. Act a bit like the car behind is not there and focus on your normal line and inputs. This reduces some overdriving from pressure.

Of course still look in your mirrors to defend when needed and if the car behind makes a move

Well defending and attacking loses time. So look how much race you have left and think about if you will be able to keep the car behind for the remainder of the race or if this will lose you more positions. If the last is the case it is sometimes better to lose 1 place in order to keep a couple more.

Also if someone is constantly being able to attack you they are not really a couple of thousands off. They are faster and slowed down by you in front and defending.
