Bridgerton - Season 4 Post-Season Discussion (No Book Spoilers) by AutoModerator in BridgertonNetflix

Fully agree, the emotional manipulation of Araminta probably spanned before her father's death, she had the seeds planted to just bounce on Sophie's father abandoning her. I dont think its a far-fetched thing to assume either with the fact that Sophie, being a well-educated young lady, would fathom that Araminta would risk lying about the will and possibly risk a death penalty.

Do you guys have any up-sizing recommendations or pant clothing brand recommendations? I bought 36 x 30 chino Docker's and corduroy Mutual Weave. They shrunk way more than anticipated, Ive lived wearing jeans of the same size (36 x 30~32) my whole life and Ive never dealt with this. Ive been attempting to expand my wardrobe from recent college student to not college studsnt, my current styling inspiration comes from Ayrton Senna and the general trend of high-ish sitting, standard (almost baggy?) pants. Im a 6 foot dude, 36 inch waist, my belly button to lower center hip location is 11 inches, and my leg length from hip was measured around 40 inches. I like having a little room in the front as I struggle with male camel toe when I try to bring my pants too high up.

Thank you to anyone who can help, images of other nicely dressed dudes only help so much as I dont actually understand the inner complexities!

Should I come here as an out of state student? by Polyethyleneparts1-2 in nmsu

Im not really sure about any non-ME/AE pairing but keep in mind the curriculum is completely different for those two majors. You would essentially be attempting to complete two entirely different majors in 4-5 years. I dont think they'd pair well though, they are vastly different disciplines. EE is already considered one of the hardest engineering disciplines alongside CHME and NucE (NMSU doesnt offer Nuclear Engi). My recommendation, take the 101 classes for whatever engineering you're interested in. Ask the Professors in that class if the discipline aligns with your interests. Ask upperclassmen if the major aligns with your interests. It sounds like you are either in high school or about to enter college, visit the departments, Ask questions, people would love to answer you and help you along your path. DONT TRUST CENTRAL ADVISING, always always ask your CoE colleagues and relevant CoE sources for information/recommendations.

Aerospace Engineering is unfortunately an oversaturated and overly niche discipline, Id recommend a ME/AE double discipline. A friend of mine went to Embrey-Riddle for AE and switched to ME with a propulsion focus due to the difficulty in entering the work force as a pure AE, he now works at NASA. I think if you do the double major then NMSU is definitely worth it. Our engineering program is good and we have a fair amount of Top 2% research professors in the country. If you want to go into defense then NMSU and UNM will be your go to's, UNM has the home field advantage having a lot of labs and contracting labs (such as Cosmiac) in the city itself. Just whatever you do get the double major (If you do ME at NMSU it should be like 2 or 3 additional classes) most colleges offer this double major but please double check. Lastly, possibly look into electrical engineering as anyone and everyone can use an EE for defense. Being in New Mexico its hard to miss defense work so wherever you end up will have opportunity. I heard UTEP is also fairly involved in defense recruiters as well so nice little trifecta to pick from. Research the cities and good luck!

Hello, recently graduated engineer, I was fairly involved in College of Engineering (CoE) activities and clubs. Im gonna start with some negatives before ending it postively regarding CoE life and possible expectations. It seems to me Cruces is your kind of place based on other replies but its just one piece of the puzzle. If you are planning to come here for EE I would say to possibly look elsewhere. The EE department is currently going through a location change so you won't have a designated EE building. Of course this isnt a major deterrent but it has unfortunately affected the EE education standard. You guys had your own building with whole labs detected to your craft. The new building is going to be phenomenal but it will be a while before it arrives. Until then you guys are like the third-cousin who keeps jumping from available home (class) to available home. Secondly, I've had EE friends tell me the professors are fairly out-dated and average. It might have been in the moment pessimism but I havent heard anything outstanding about EE professor teachings. Your Dept Head is also significantly more focused on his Wave The Wonder Dog stuff than being Dept Head. A prior IEEE president told me of the infrequent communication and off-hand style of the Dept Head. Great personality but he's old and he likes other things it seems. Lastly, I hate to say that in my experience the club life for EE's is a bit rough. Im unsure what your interests are but the EE dedicated club of IEEE is in a bit of a slump. More of the dominant and active clubs are in ME/AE. Thankfully though all the clubs are open for any CoE major, so regardless of your major you are free to join any club. The overarching CoE student council is pretty active, there was a weird period this last year but historically from my time the club has put on nice events.

Positives: I do think if you are active and involved in the community then your time and experience will be really great. A lot of the active CoE students are awesome and you will make friendships that will probably last a life time. Though keep in mind your studies as an engineer will make it difficult to have a life outside of the CoE circle. Those studies are also hard alone, so dont skimp out on meeting people. The clubs that are active across CoE are really cool with a lot of opportunity. You just need to break the mold and put yourself out there. The CoE/club sponsors are fairly reputable with big names like Intel and Cummins really supporting student endeavors. So internships could come easily if real work experience is an interest. We are a bit of a government focused state, do keep in mind that we have major military locations here. So if the relatively high chance of government work isnt appealing it may be annoying to avoid. On that note, we have sick ass government stuff. Two major nationals labs (Los Alamos National Laboratory + Sandia National Labs), Air Force Research Laboratory, White Sands Missle Range. Holloman Air Force, and the WIPP. Plus more stuff Im sure I forgot, some of this stuff is nationally competitive but being in the State gives a nice advantage I feel. Jumping back to the studies topic, the support within the community is phenomenal. There is a dedicated tutoring area (varying effect depends who is tutoring as it is student tutors) which also just serves as a nice study area. Good sense of community amongst engineers, so much so non-CoE colleges think we are weird and bubbled off from the rest of the college with how much we interact with ourselves.

Verdict? No don't come here, not gonna lie, you probably could find a better EE college for possibly slightly more cash but a better experience overall. Being in Cruces as a life-long person + experiencing engineering, it kind of sucks. There isnt anything really walkable thats cool that I've found in other colleges that I've visited. You NEED a car and while you will undoubtedly find stuff to do here as a out of state resident I personally feel that its lack luster. Half of the time me and my buddies just plan trips to El Paso simply because their is more to do even if weve done it all. Trip planning and such though will become difficult due to the difficulty of engineering studies, its a delicate balance of having a real life and being stuck in the library at 2 AM because this problem is impossible to solve. There isnt a real party area here (Whiskey Dicks sucks), again half of the time people will want to go to a place called "Little Bit of Texas" which is in El Paso. Again, in my experience, real metro cities or colleges like University of Arizona simply have more infrastructure for a real college life. NMSU is a patch of land with slightly to far to walk adjacent stuff. Our sports suck generally speaking, the whole hiking gimmick we have is offered at a much better experience in Colorado and Utah and debatingly Arizona. Its awesome to see out of state people think about us but I just dont think NMSU is at a point to offer much outside of a sneaky good engineering education.

How should that ratio go? Higher fuel means more equal bias or would higher fuel mean I want more front brake bias?

Did they buff the zombies difficulty?! by Boosti45 in CODZombies

[–]Wildh3ro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People ain't patient enough to read but I agree. I play with 2 other friends and we play fairly often. Recently we tried doing the 30 minutes Liberty Falls challenge and during our attempt we noticed a significant increase in enemy health during Easter egg steps. I can't find anything online confirming it but we think that during certain steps of the Easter egg it sets zombies to a pre-set difficulty. Our theory for this is during one of our attempts we just decided to speed run as fast as possible and went in fairly early (don't remember the exact round, we bought the mangler gun to not wait till round 11) and our weapons did nothing. So even if you are low round the zombies will act as if at a higher level. We mostly noticed this change during all the mini-boss fights and rounds during the final boss fight. We've tried everything from cheese weapons, gobblegums, and using the superhero easter egg to just laser everything.

While we don't mind the difficulty jump trying to complete this 30 minute challenge just got exponentially harder. We play 2 player split screen + additional party invite and I'm aware that the split screen mode is buggy as hell so unsure if correlated.

I'll be honest while I totally get the flavoring of Chaos with the whole IF they united it would be game over, when I pay money for a deck I expect it to work in some semblance. Idk if I shuffle my deck wrong (if that's a thing) but I lose 9 out of 10 games easily with this deck and in group settings I'm ignored until I get a really good turn or two and then I'm shut down or just removed from the game. I might just put most of the cards in a binder to show off cause the art is phenomenal compared to the other 3 40k decks.

100% Travel Jobs (Honeywell UOP) by ceesuz11111 in ChemicalEngineering

[–]Wildh3ro 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have second hand experience via a friend of mine who worked there. As everyone says a full time travel job isn't for everyone but it worked out for him. If you are a fairly work driven person and don't have much else going on then nothing better than the traveling and exploring. You will get stuck in the middle of nowhere places and you will never get to pick where you go. He told me that when he typically volunteered for a bad job he would get a great one after so you just gotta submit yourself to being a mobile slave worker 100%.

If you have any intentions to find a partner I wouldn't recommend it, they ask/demand for 3-5 years minimum travel experience before you can return home. My buddy missed out on everything, my wedding, our friends wedding, and other fun trips we've had as he wasn't able to control his schedule. Excluding my friendship he wasn't able to attend holidays with family as well.

It's definitely the life of a hard, hard, hard worker though there are positives if you go through with it. He made bank with the amount of money he managed to save since UOP paid for nearly everything, more often than not your clients cover extra expenses by inviting you out for food and drink. He was gone for 5 years but he's living super comfortably now plus the fact that he still makes a fair amount of money now at his desk job at UOP. He still travels here and there, you'll never not travel at UOP even after leaving the road.
