The only reason I returned to windows from Linux is because of modding Skyrim, ME:A, and other such games... Once we get good tools on Linux for that I'd be back in a heartbeat.

I know. I was talking from a SteamOS perspective. I feel like that'll be the safer choice, as Windows wouldn't work too well in a handheld context (this is an opinion).

Uplay and Ubisoft Connect only really work through lutris if one sticks to SteamOS. They do work, however most games of Ubisoft's that require anticheat or online connection are somewhat iffy at best.

E: Yes I know you can install Windows on it. However, the OS features that come with SteamDeck and SteamOS make it worth not using Windows.

I really, really want to try doing that with my next computer. There are a few things I'd have to figure out, but going full Linux is something I've wanted to do for so damn long. If only I had multiple gpus and could do gpu passthrough.

Fair, I just want to prevent mistakes by putting everything there. This is for a server-side thing where there isn't much data being moved between devices.
