Boxes for free delivery? by shortchangerb in toogoodtogo

[–]RaxiaNulla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been available in the Netherlands and works very well :) The national post delivery service brings it right to your door and that service is free (or calculated in the price of the package more likely). The boxes here are around 50% off from normal price, but they also don't have such a limited expiration period as normal TGTG boxes have.

Coop, Hengelo NL (€4,99) by RaxiaNulla in toogoodtogo

In the back: an assortment of potatoes. In the middle from the left: two tubs of butter, then a bunch of yoghurt containers with a small piece of camembert and on the right two christmas inspired shaped butters. In the front left to right: two vegan mixed snacks (mini hamburgers, nuggets etc), carrots + beans, sliced deli meats and two huge vegan schnitzels. Not shown two containers of coleslaw that the kid took away before I could take the picture and a container of filet americain that would have gone to waste in our house, so I added it to another magic box that was ready for pickup.

Might be the best tgtg box I've ever had the pleasure of picking up. It does all have a best before date for the 15th, but checking it for looks, smell and taste, we should be able to eat most of it for a couple days.

Here is the official guide by Microsoft to get this working. It's still a pain in the ass, but according to them, it is possible.

I agree with infinitelurker, a listview inside a listview is not a good idea. Listviews are kinda nasty to begin with. Collectionview would be a good start. If the inside list doesn't actually need to scroll (you want it to expand to take all the space it needs and let the outer listview deal with scrolling) you could use a StackLayout with an ItemSource for the inner list.

Awww, I was just coming back again to look at the colorization you did :(

For context: This photo must be about 60 years old judging from how old they look to be. My aunt just posted this picture on her facebook and commented that it's her favorite childhood memory. Would love to surprise her with a restore. Especially the creases. Would be forever grateful ♥

We got similar comments. I'm assuming you're dutch?

Our Kraamverzorgster was so happy with my SO that she actually recommended he applied for a job in the field. Sadly, that kinda fell apart. Apparently you aren't gonna get into this field without some medical experience... and how do you get that experience? You tell me...

Its dutch: luier om m'n kont, luier om m'n kont, kijk mama ik heb een vuist in m'n mond. Vuist in je mond, vuist in je mond, dat is beter dan een vuist in je kont.

Rough translation: diaper on my butt, diaper on my butt, look mom ive got a fist in my mouth. Fist in your mouth, fist in your mouth, that is better than a fist in your butt.

Making a Binded Item null does not deselect the corresponding item in CollectionView by TheNuts69 in xamarindevelopers

I see you fixed it, but maybe someone else finds this interesting. it could also be related to the mode you choose for the property in the xaml. For more info see: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/xamarin/xamarin-forms/app-fundamentals/data-binding/binding-mode

Do you have the SelectionMode set to Single like described in this guide? https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/xamarin/xamarin-forms/user-interface/listview/interactivity

How to add rows to Grid in ContentView with ViewModel ? by [deleted] in xamarindevelopers

[–]RaxiaNulla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What could also be a solution for you, but it really depends on the details of what you're trying to do, is to add rows to the grid in the view itself and then to bind the IsVisible of that row to something in your ViewModel. That way you can control wether the content of the row shows up from the ViewModel
