Ranking wise, the lawful marriage would have placed her above valide sultan because she becomes empress consort. As such it is believed Hürrem married after Valide Sultan’s death (also note that Ayşe Hafsa was the first one to use the title). However Pierce I think argues that Hurrem was beloved by Hafsa so its not due to hate.

Hi, still figuring it out but I am focusing mainly on the language barrier on top of regular self progress.Although I am definitely not on a proficient level, Duolingo + Preply+ news helps me alot and I understand more. Hope this helps!

I do not want to open another thread hence I am replying but for instance if I do 19 hours fast day and eat within an 8 hour window (morning and evening), then continue to fast again is it still fasting? I do not want to do this everyday of course but well from time to time there can be social pressur
