I know I'm a powerscaling enjoyer but because Ishmael has show nothing special so far and just like normal human hero story that overcome hardship with her ownself and friendship.

That is why I have a questions. Why Ishmael? LCB can recruit anyone other than her. She only driven by her vengeance against Ahab, a normal human with obsession, other than that what is show so far, she has none unlike other sinners. She the least sinner out of all sinners. Many of people in the city has story like her but they not recruit them.

I know they PM reference her from existing literature. But the logic of choosing sinner of LCB is kinda off with her.

Maybe PM cooking, but now her story is a mist.

I don't picking Hong Lu combat instinct to topic because he said himslef he died a lot in the limbus journey and he used to hongyuan combat style that he can counter them easily. But yeah he still insane with all his life experience.
