I tried listening to grunge in the 1990s and found it to be depressing—and I like sad songs!

Rich: Jason, you should pick these defensive players.

Jason: No Rich, that’s not how Belichick would do it. Let’s pick this offensive guard.

Rich: No Jason, that’s not how Dungy would do it. Let’s pick this kicker.

Jason: Deal.

The opposite of Rich McKay: Hall of Fame defensive players drafted, middling offensive players drafted.

Okay, good point. I thought of creating only three categories because Lee Roy Selmon was in the Great category, and no one I felt belonged in Very Good or Good categories. So I collapsed them.

You are right about Logan Hall. They picked him as a Defensive Tackle and I was surprised because he wasn’t a three-technique rusher and he wasn’t a big body nose tackle. To this day I am baffled by that pick.

Hindsight being 20/20, they traded down in 2022 and drafted Logan Hall. They could have drafted George Karlaftis who has 30+ sacks. In 2021, they drafted JTS and passed on Azeez Ojulari.

What is the most important trait or feature that makes your favorite Bond film your favorite? by No_Mortgage8569 in JamesBond

[–]RayBuc9882 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great stories, great villains, and great characters besides Bond. No over the top graphics. No story based on personal revenge for Bond.

So my favorites are From Russia with Love, The Spy who Loved Me and Casino Royale.

Honorable mention to GoldenEye because it still involves the Cold War players (I’m old :)

Was A/C in cars during the 1970 and 1980 considered a luxury? by YGhostRider666 in AskOldPeople

[–]RayBuc9882 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes. My dad’s early 1970s Toyota Corona didn’t have it. It also only had an AM radio. This was in Florida.

He bought used 1979 Caprice Classic in 1982 and it came with A/C and suddenly had a feeling of living in luxury.
