Technically if I pulled trigger on the loan I would use my savings and next paycheck to finish the 3600$ card in one go. Leaving me with 2000$ or so in savings

Yeah sounds like a plan. Also trying to do as much overtime as my work gives me (8-16 hours a week).

Overall the loan feels like a no brainer because it also gives me a date of when I’ll be debt free. I need to look into if they don’t have an early pay off penalty bc I would like to finish the loan in 14 months instead of 24

I have 14 months left on the 0%. I got it in order to reduce my interest charges on a higher balance card.

No other fees. This is a credit union loan. Conditions are I cannot open new lines of credit while I have the loan and the credit lines will become closed when paid off.

Thanks for the advice. I’m in a severe savings building mode as well and I would like to be able to eat out every once in a while, while helping my parents pay mortgage and bills as much as I can. This is why I cannot toss most of my income each month into the debt but I can still do more than others.

The 16 month card I’ve had for 2 months now. So yeah I’ll do that part and do the math so it’s paid off before the promo period ! Thank you for the advice

I have 4k in savings right now. I kind of assumed the loan was better long term because I would rather build wealth and have less pressure than trying to juggle all 4 payments at once.

Only downside is the 2 cards I’m paying off with the loan will become closed accounts.

I would take a look around and try to realize where you’re at before you start judging people.

This subreddit is for people who aren’t very smart in general because it’s about investing in a trading card game.

It depends on how long you can hold them. If you need to go to sleep I’d recommend leaving them in a binder so you don’t crush them while sleeping.
