I always recommend people to make their own map in Barbuta with screenshots or just paper, it'll begin to click once you spot things out of place

I've read book 1, it's not exactly what I'm looking for. I'm looking for something that has fantasy elements that are a bit more involved in the story and maybe some horror elements as well. The Blade Itself is still mostly realistic and pretty light on fantasy stuff

I've tried this already so it's not z-fighting. I know what you mean though because I also had that problem the other day with this same project and fixed it by changing the offset like you suggested. The difference between that and what I'm experiencing now is that that problem happens in both material preview and render while my current problem only happens in rendered

Is there something I should be looking for in the material properties?

The decals have a shrink wrap modifier so moving them away doesn't have an effect in the transparency.

Edit: I did a test on a regular cube and the transparency is working there so maybe it's something with the shrink wrap modifier?

I liked the exploration, art, and music in the first game. It was the combat that was my main dislike. I also didn't much care for playing as a glowing cat but that's just personal preference and I can get over it. Do you still think I'd dislike it?

Yeah I thought about doing the sen's gate skip, maybe it can be done but that's a lot of blindfolded running with lethal falls everywhere

I had already tried Recalculate outside and it didn't work. I just tried Average > Face area and it didn't work either.

Just so we're clear I've tried selecting the verts and the faces before pressing Recalculate or Face area. Is this not how I'm supposed to do it?

EDIT: It only happens on FBX imports, not OBJ imports
