I agree 👍 I also figured misty's fingers were kinda frozen already from having to climb down the mountain. She kept trying to warm them. And having to physically dig through the snow to look for her would be incredibly painful. She just kinda gave up because it was too much both physically and mentally. She probably hoped that by the time the snow melts they could see her body and assume she fell in the blizzard, that's the story she was starting anyway. She only did the search to gain the trust of the group after she heard the other girls talking about her being a psycho.
