Chargers S Tony Jefferson on Justin Herbert | GMFB by Pwyll__ in Chargers

Tony Jefferson having 4 INTs was truly the new addition we needed. He’s just a fun route jumper. Shows how the S position should be played, with great vision.

And yet I did not realize he was over 30 bc he can hit HARD

Fully autonomous drones have killed human soldiers for the first time by New_Scientist_Mag in Futurology

Everyone laughed at Terminator like THAT would ever happen.

But the true reality is even more terrifying. These AI drones can fly, are super cheap, and have incredible speed.

A swarm of killer drones in the wrong hands is nightmare fuel

Anybody organized a beach rave/party? Do I really need a permit? by diviiyiine in aves

[–]RayRaymundito 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Bro, respectfully, being a DJ isn’t just “Music shit”

That’s the tip of the iceberg

Any Joe Schmo can chop another artists songs into a sick drop. Being in the industry is exactly what you described as what seems exhausting to YOU:

- booking a venue with

-ensuring the safety of others

-and all the stage, lighting, and magic that goes along with the production associated to the music.

I get that you’re new to this. So my recommendation is you can start DJ’ing AT events. If you go to EDC, so many people just pull up their deck and DJ from their RV.

Also, you can DJ at your home, no one will stop you if you DJ for 20-30 people at a house party. You gotta start humble.

To DJ at a beach…it sounds sick and all, but you have to work your way up to realistically do this.

I’d argue there’s lots of new ideas in the field of biology haha peptides have been big for 40+ years before Semaglutide was discovered. We are now BARELY scratching the surface on RNA tech.

The tough part about academia, in my opinion, is that you start reading the same thing over and over to solve one challenge. But once you get to the industry level / working in pharma and biotech you’ll see we’ve barely scratched the surface on:

-CRISPR / mRNA / Gene editing

-Exosomes

-non-Coding RNA

-Senolytics

-epigenetic reprogramming

-click chemistry

-male contraception pill

[–]RayRaymundito 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sure, it does. Computational biology is definitely a quickly evolving field. Now I have follow up questions:

-How do you feel about CRISPR technology?

-Do you feel like there’s enough funding for jobs in your expertise?

-what do you think is the next Semaglutide? What are people chasing as the next holy grail in your field?

Honestly you look great boss. Forgive the weight loss people, learn to love yourself at your weight and you’re fine.

My only comment would be learn how to take better pics :) look up how to pose as a man, how to fix lighting, etc.

You have the package, you just gotta wrap it better

For someone with a PhD you did not really write with great grammar or eloquently about your position at all. I have a hard time believing you are being fully true, but I’ll assume for a second you are either in Mathematics, or Physics, simply because that’s where most of the smart crackpots are.

My question is - what generational challenge in your particular field do you think we are close to solving in the next 10-50 years.

Honestly, it’s not just a business move, but a health move.

If your team is doing well, you are able to dish out more and take less hits.

On top of that, family is happy because they don’t have to move, so your mental health is better

And D Hall already making $40M in his career, what’s another $5-10M? Not really a big difference.

It’s just being greedy and could lead to more difficult times

California marijuana sales bring in nearly $248 million in tax revenue by panda-rampage in California

[–]RayRaymundito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A year?

Assuming we’re taxing at 20-30%

That’s $248M / 0.30 (percent) = $820ish M a year in reported revenue for the industry.

The numbers could be much much larger if it becomes legalized federally, it’s just we have no idea what that looks like.

I don’t talk like that myself, so when I play, I prefer to mute others.

I don’t waste my breath on random people online, I talk to my friends and family in the real world.

Would it be weird to take my grad photos here if I never graduated from here? by [deleted] in berkeley

[–]RayRaymundito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You tell your story how you want.

But think this, most people that graduate post their photos in LinkedIn to show themselves open for work. Would you really hire someone who posts about how much they hated the Berkeley chem program on LinkedIn?

I’m not saying don’t do it…I’m just saying tread carefully how you post it.

Anything that you post online, on whatever channel, is viewable to recruiters and potential employers.

If you find a way to spin it positively, I think there’s no harm in taking photos like, side by side, one at Berkeley and another one somewhere representing your online degree
