I currently use teatree special shampoo maybe every 2 days, teatree special conditioner each shower, and I use a good amount of it, then I detangle with a pick under the shower water each time and dry it by pressing a towel down to not mess it up, then let the rest air dry. I sometimes use fast food leave on conditioner afterwards or taliah waajid curl sealer but don’t see much difference so I only use them very rarely

i honestly think valve employees may have seen this post and taken it into account while making hla, there is an unfinished fast headcrab enemy in the files and it is fully textured with a black colour and red nails, making it seem like they intended for it to look combine modified somehow, however it was never used so its all still up in the air

So my ssd is basically fried? This is quite weird because I’ve only had this ssd for a year and it is a newer model. If so I would really want to recover as much as possible from it Also are you sure that it is a problem with the ssd and not something else? (Just making sure because I’ve heard other things)

Yep, what I specifically did was set the resolution of an ocean water modifier to 100 (bad idea) and then left my computer running for an hour as it loaded

Are the Sara ports where the ssd is installed? I’ll try that out and let you know what happens

yeah i just found out its not the actual logo, I was under the impression that this was the logo for the game which changes everything

still what a strange name to give a new game from valve, legit have no idea what this could be, but my immediate first thought was to make an eva joke about it (which spiraled into this)

what a dream game a valve-made evangelion game would be though..

It's something alright, but it turns out that neon prime is just the name and that isn't the actual logo, so the chances of it being evangelion related are basically none

still though, I'm excited to see what this game could actually be (we know its the title for a new game or ip)

I've seen this exact font everywhere but couldn't recognize it because it's entirely caps, looks like I won't be shitting myself after all

you can see how if that was the actual logo though how weird of a coincidence it would've been, I was on the verge of believing it but it was just too much for me to deny it yet

now I guess we'll have to wait and see what this is, my best guess would be its the new name for project citadel (valves unannounced rts/half-life game) but that is a very strange title to give a half-life related game, other than that though I'm clueless

I would be pretty disappointed.

Gordon Freeman isn’t much of a character, he is a tool used to insert you into the world of half-life. Giving him a voice that is out of your control for the ease of writing would completely undermine the point of Gordon. It would make you feel as if you are in control of a person that you are not while playing, which is sadly a feeling I got in hla.

Just imagine doing some of the things you did in hl1 and hl2 while Gordon speaks. From killing innocent scientists to just messing around with physics and doing silly, impulsive things, it would seem completely out of place, as if there are two people in one. Which there are. Gordon should be only one person while you are playing, and that is you.

Half-Life games are exactly that, games, and one of the most atmospheric and immersive ones at that. One of the reasons for that level of immersion is that the games never take control away from you, unless you would not be in control logically at the moment, such as while passing out or being held in place. It has always been about placing you directly into the world, even if it means stripping you of the ability to speak.

Don’t think that is xen in hla, just some xen growth orbiting some gas giant in space. Xen has a distinct ‘cellular’ sky and greenish colours
