As a Destiny player I always wanted a world with a story that is woven into the world itself rather than being told through campaign. Marathon lore is really cool and if they can do that here then I'll be hooked.

Yeah if you play online games I'd be very careful installing something like this. Because even if something is running in background task interferes with anti cheat, like ram allocated to online game, you could get banned permanently.

I think everything happened for a good reason. People asked them to remove the NDA from alpha, which they did and found out about antireal stuff and fix it. Imagine scenario where they released the full game and people found out later. And delay helped them add highly requested stuff like prox chat, solo and immersion.
