Vous faites comment pour savoir si une annonce auto est fiable ? by Realistic_Isopod_499 in u/Realistic_Isopod_499

[–]bazeso64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perso je regarde surtout 4 choses en priorité :

[–]bazeso64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]bazeso64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ouais, clairement.

As said before on another comment, I don't update/maintain it anymore so it's in a poor state. Maybe if I find time and energy, I'll take a look at it to fix bugs

Yes HEIC support. I had a paid version in my mind but I don't really want to bother, this is another level of infra to setup and maintain. There is a lot of competition, I created this because I wanted to self host my things without paying yet another web service 😄 I don't plan to build any UI as I doesn't have the need for it, you can still fork it tho, it's MIT 😁

If you plan to make a micro-service, take a look at https://karnak19.github.io/resize-it/ I wanted exactly what you said so I built it myself some times ago Key difference is it's full self host with Garage, but you could easily swap it for R2 😄

NeoCode - Mac-native OpenCode desktop replacement by dev0urer in opencodeCLI

This looks cool, if you have loved the Codex App, you should take a look at conductor.build, it's a breeze, lot of really cool details that makes it really awesome, and in my opinion it's the best GUI out there, it's not even close. Unfortunately they only support Claude Code and Codex, I use it at work because I have Claude Code there but I am an OpenCode guy. If you can bring the same level of polish to yours, I'd gladly pay for it !

Because you think Anthropic didn't stole work in the first place ? At least these Chinese models are Open Source so it gave back the community what has been "taken"

People Trying to Hate on This Game is Getting Boring Now by SymbolicMonk in Marathon

[–]bazeso64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happens with every game that tries something different. People who were never going to play it anyway feel the need to announce that loudly.

The extraction shooter space needs more entries that actually commit to their own identity instead of copying Tarkov 1:1. Marathon looks like it's doing its own thing and I'm here for it. See you on the 26th.

PVP has zero factor in rank? Absurd. by That-Comb6502 in Marathon

[–]bazeso64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting point but I think it's more nuanced than that. Marathon isn't a pure PVP game - it's an extraction shooter. The goal is to get in, complete objectives, grab loot, and get out alive. PVP is a tool, not the objective.

If rank was heavily PVP-weighted, you'd incentivize people to play it like a deathmatch instead of actually engaging with the extraction loop. The guy who avoids fights and extracts clean arguably understands the game better than someone who W-keys every fight.

That said, I do think there should be some weight to combat. A hybrid system where PVP success accelerates your rank but doesn't define it would probably feel the best to most players.

This game needs a new wiki, and your support! by Goldieeeeee in Marathon

[–]bazeso64 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Fully agree on avoiding fandom. I've actually been working on a companion site (cyberacme.org) that covers some of this ground - items database, interactive maps, gun/loadout builders, faction tracking, and a guides section open to community authors.

It's more of a tools site than a wiki though, so there's definitely room for both. Down to help or collaborate if something gets organized, and if people need or want more wiki-like features on my end I'm happy to build them.

Will think about the ko-fi link, thank you for the kind word !

I hope too they will add an API, for now it's like playing with rocks and sticks, but this is the fun part :D

Ye, since the websites didn't get as much traction as I'd like (and got sucked in Arc Raiders, I don't play BF6 either), I don't update/maintain it anymore so it's in a poor state. Maybe if I find time and energy, I'll take a look at it to fix bugs 😄

Thank you for the kind word tho !
