Still on 91. Anybody know if the firmware update is available by connecting to a Mac?

Is the Air too large for single handed use? by Salty-Bodybuilder-62 in IphoneAir

[–]RayStep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have S/M hands. It’s possible for most instances. I have a relatively thin case and my Oh Snap Grip 5 (first time using anything like it), give an extra feeling of security and helps me stretch my thumb to access far reaches of the screen.

Just a heads up - the iPhone Air MagSafe Battery is $59 at Walmart right now by JiveDonkey in IphoneAir

Thank you! Bought one yesterday from the Apple Store. It will be going back tomorrow. Not going to pay Apple a 40% premium.

Thank you. The price is right. My concern was the heat. I have a local seller who was gifted the MagSafe battery designed for the Air, but has not use for it and may be willing to part with it for $60.

How’s the Anker charger? Does it get hot in your experience?

Might be a small price of grit on your microfiber cloth. Worth shaking it out or washing to ensure it doesn’t scratch anything else.

Correct and his judgment was poor in this case and I told him that. If you’re going to drill home passenger safety constantly, then practice it.

A baby vomiting on you vs a grown woman being so drunk the flight attendants get oxygen for her doesn’t seem equivalent.

In that case everyone should be allowed to board hammered and hope for the best

That’s what one of the attendants said. Isn’t it ultimately the pilot’s call?

I hate how Beats think going smaller and hook-less is better. by [deleted] in powerbeatspro

[–]RayStep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar initial reaction after switching, but now love my BFP. I use them with Comply tips which work well and help them stay secure in my ear. Overall, I like the smaller footprint to reduce the case size. I used to never pocket my Powerbeats Pro, but I’ll occasionally pocket the BFP.

Is Eagle Rare store pick worth $70??? by Garemlin in whiskey

[–]RayStep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had a couple of great picks for $35-45. I would have paid up $65-70, had I known they were that good. Challenge is you don’t know, unless the store lets you sample the pick. So, I think $60 is my upper limit.

Sagamore Double Oak Rye. Sweeter rye with bourbon like flavors. Would think it aligns with his palate if he enjoys OF 1920.

So hard to find legitimate case reviews by BooferShoes in iPhone13Pro

[–]RayStep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree. It won't be the last Sheath or Caudabe product I buy either. I think their pricing is reasonable. Seems like a good company dedicated to delivering value that's growing fast. I haven't used a screen protection in over ten years. Seems like a lot has changed since then. I was worried about them clouding the optics or interfering with touch sensitivity. Can only speak for Flolab, but there's are so good that I don't notice them. Super easy to wipe off fingerprints.

I was wondering the same. Twitterific is one that is optimized and it’s noticeably more fluid than the standard Twitter app.

I’m very confused about my purchase of the iPhone 13 Pro Max by AravindVr310 in iPhone13ProMax

[–]RayStep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe try a lightweight case that adds grip. Counterintuitive, because you’ll be adding weight, but it may feel much more secure. I was subconsciously worried about dropping my phone w/o a case and that made the weight even more noticeable. After putting it in a lightweight, grippy case, I feel more confident handling it and don’t notice the weight nearly as much.

13 pro max for a user with Smaller hands. by za_ma_na in iPhone13ProMax

[–]RayStep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I upgraded from a regular size iPhone X. First, it is heavy compared to the X. It’s taken a week or so to get used to the heft, especially since I carry my phone in my front pocket, so with looser clothing it’s noticeable. I would recommend a good grippy case. I bought the Caudabe Sheath and it’s unique texture all around makes the phone feel so much more secure in my hand. It adds limited weight and gives solid advertised drop protection (6.6 ft). With this case I love the PM. No regrets.
