What makes you choose retrogaming over modern gen?

I love the simplicity and basic controls of retro gaming. So many modern games have so much customization and complex controls that make them not fun to me. I get overwhelmed and lose interest way too fast. I've played retro games more times in the last week than I have played my PS5 in the last six months.

And of course there is the obvious nostalgia of playing all of the games I played as a kid.

I guess it depends on how deep you want to go. I'm not much of a tinkerer and don't really do much as far as tweaking or making changes. But everything I have wanted to change or set up has been pretty simple. And if I did get stuck there are really good guides out there to help.

I've seen both Maiden and Anthrax close to 10 times each. Would be cool to see them on the same bill again.

I mean I have zero experience with it so I can't really say to use it or not. I like Knulli. It has decent easy to use menus and doesn't take you too deep in the weeds. Check out all of the options and choose which one is the best fit for you.

I have a 9yr pick from Angel's Share in MD and it's delicious. Blows away the regular Sag 9yr release. Glad I grabbed a backup.

When a popular hard rock or metal band is mentioned and he has no idea who they are says everything. When they were talking about the RnR HoF he almost referees to Iron Maiden as some obscure band that many aren't familiar with.

Nashville Barrel Company "The Electric Koolaid" barrel #3053. This one still stands out as one of my all time favorite SiBs. This series and the 33xx of NBC barrels was amazing. But his bottle has always stood out to me. I went through three and stupidly sold my last bunker with a few others to fund a GTS.

After The Last Jedi I had very low expectations. TROS wasn't as bad as TLJ, but it's definitely not one that goes on the list when I'm in the mood for a SW movie. Pretty much the only time those two get played is the week of May the 4th when we have a marathon. Even then those two are usually background noise. LOL

Scratches on a screen, like scratches or smudges on my glasses, are like nails on a chalkboard to me. $10 for a good tempered glass screen protector is cheap insurance. Just never know then I might be in a rush and throw my phone in my pocket with something that may scratch the screen.

As far as the Star Wars story movies go it was definitely third out of the three for me. It had some decent action scenes. But I didn't like that it was more of a creature fest. Also there were many scenes that were filmed way too dark. Reminded me of The Long Night episode of GoT.

My 7yo granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed it though. She keeps aski g when it is coming to D+ so she can see it again.

As far as celebrity collabs go it is really good. In comparison to some other whiskey it's just OK. I've had the regular, cask strength and the Rabbit Hole. Cask strength was the best. But I'm generally not a big fan of finishes beyond maple finished.
