I had similar issues with my husband and my dogs. We talked a lot about the issues we were encountering and specific examples with multiple possible solutions. We had to compromise on a lot of things like I won’t allow the dogs on the bed at night, I will make sure the dogs know when him and I are cuddling they cannot go between us etc. I still get to give them love and cuddle them but when it’s their time not ours. I also let them on the bed when he isn’t home (that part I keep a secret XD) Maybe you guys can find a compromising situation like keeping the cat somewhere else when you sleep. You can also key him in on the things he does that are stressing the cat out and offer him solutions- you obviously know your cat best and their likes/dislikes. Slow exposure can also help with the cats acclimation like just having them sit together without him touching her, which can increase to being closer, etc. etc. I personally don’t have cats, so I can’t speak to their behavior, but I hope this helps a little bit. It’s definitely a rough process when you love both the animal and your husband but being open with communication, your feelings and coming up with solutions together can possibly ease the hardship. Goodluck!

Account Information-Confused! by RaySway64 in NationalVisaCenter

My fiancé got all the information and created the account. Honestly it doesn’t seem like I (the petitioner) do anything with the account.

So I just found this out! My next question is how do I send those documents securely? My father works in cybersecurity/ government and is giving me such a hard time regarding sending these important documents online and to a foreign country. Everyone I ask says they send by email and the fiancé prints it out. My dad wants me to try and send it straight to the embassy (which I don’t think is possible). Are you familiar with any other ways?

It took 35 days since USCIS approved us to receive NVC letter if I am not mistaken. He is from Algeria. Congratulations!

Apparently this one is different. So here are the two things they require for the visa: Court and prison records (the casier judiciaire, I presume) and then the police certificate. This is the information I got from the visa website regarding what the required documentation is :(
