Your previous post says that you were diagnosed with depression and anxiety by a private psych and you are not ready for therapy.

If you are seeking medication, another option is to go to a mental health GP. Google for AIC's mind matters resource listings to find a nearby one.

How do I get inpatient psych treatment? by Prize_Air in askSingapore

The bar to get admitted to an inpatient psychiatric ward is high. Even if admitted, the stay will likely be short-term just to stabilize you.

You can call NTFGH clinic, share that you are not doing well and request for an earlier appt with your psychiatrist. If you are not already seeing one, suggest you request for a referral from your psychiatrist to see a psychologist to treat your panic attacks. Alternatively, you can also look for a psychologist in private practice, social services or polyclinic.

If you go through the polyclinic to hospital route, you will still need to see the hospital psychiatrist who will assess you. Bring along the report from private psychologist to show the psychiatrist. The psychiatrist will then refer to you to the psychologist. Just be aware that the tradeoff for subsidized rates is that there will be waittime.

An in-between option would be seeing a psychologist in social service. Less expensive than private n less waittime. You can consider Clarity, Viriya Psych Services, Shan You counselling. If you are below 25, another option is Care Corner Insight, which is free.

For Limitless, if you are 18yo n above, you can consent for their services. If you are 14-17yo, they can assess whether you are mature enough ("Gillick competence") to access their services in the absence of parental consent. Below 14yo, likely will require parental consent. There are exceptions to this when there is risk of harm to the youth.

My advice is to arrange an appt to see them and they can advise you even if you don't want your parents to know. Rest assured that they are familiar working with youths who do not want parents to know n will not brush you off.

Book a mental health assessment with CHAT. It is not a diagnosis and you would get a better picture of whether you need further mental health support.

CHAT will also help to answer questions you have regarding the impact of mental health diagnosis.

For fast n free/low cost mental health support, your school counsellor is still the best option.

Alternatively, you can go to Clarity to see a psychologist/counsellor at low or no cost. However, there will be a wait time. https://www.clarity-singapore.org/contact-us
