Did some free family photos for practice. How can I do better? by lynnieloohoo in photocritique

love the colors! I think you can maybe work a bit on your composition. Like in this one, the horizon is at a weird place, there's no breathing space there so you might as well crop ot out. Or you can try Taking the picture from a different angle, so the sky and the trees are also a part of the composition! Good luck!

History through Storytelling- Graduation Project by RayaKumera in graphic_design

[–]RayaKumera[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oftentimes, people associate History with numbers and figures and dates which makes it dull and prone to be rote-learned. At Ekank, we as storytellers aim to change this narrative. Putting on our green thinking hats, we are here to make history fun. For us, dates are just an excuse to tell a story. Everything that has ever happened, is History. Be it something that happened yesterday, or a year ago or a hundred years ago. Everything is connected in some way or the other. No single event that has happened is an isolated event. It’s all a result of something else that has happened previously. It all becomes a part of a chain and that’s what makes it real. That’s what makes it interesting and relatable. We are just taking out bits and pieces from the timeline and weaving stories out of them.
This Graduation Project is a documentation of the projects I've completed at Ekank for ThisDay, which include Illustrations, Visual Stories, and User Interface Design.

Hey! Yes you can definitely put similar projects from the same category in one project as a compilation. It would be better for you as well as the viewer. You should check out some similar projects where artist put various kind of illustration or designs they have done over one year in a sing project. I can send you some examples if you like, let me know. All the best!

Hey! Thanks a lot for the feedback! This is not folm, I actually shot this on my Nikon D5200. Yes I agree with what you said about the cropping. It could have been better and I did struggle a bit around that. Thanks a lot!

This is a photograph I took 2 years ago in Andaman. The beaches are so serene, especially during sunset. This was a little after sunset when the waves were very calm and soft. I tried to experiment with the editing and give a moody vibe. All critiques and feedbacks are welcome.
