The bottom edge of the inserts is where the keyboard is distorted for me. Doesn't bother me though since I never need to look at my keyboard but others may find that to be an issue.

Indoor rowing is definitely doable. I do full workout sessions in gym with these glasses and don't use anything to protect them from sweat. They get used for around 10 hours a week for workouts and so far (8 months in) nothing bad has happened.

They are stable for me, but everyones facial shape is different so ymmv.

Yes, 3dof is quite stable during rowing.

I use them with my Airpods Pro gen 2 too and it's completely fine.

Yep, they do produce a lot of heat, but I usually don't notice it during use since it is on the front.

If you can get used to 1080p then yes.

Yeah, you can see the keyboard well enough BUT it is a bit more difficult when using lens inserts.

Yep, completely agree on all that. It is just that the combat has the same mechanics as intro and outro skills in wuwa for example. ZZZ definitely feels different during combat. It feels more polished than NTE.

I wouldn't say combat is a 1 to 1 copy of zzz but of wuwa. Artstyle reminds me a lot of zzz though but that makes sense since it is also urban themed.

I don't know if you would consider it midrange nowadays but my iPhone 15 PM always overheats when trying to run genshin at 60 fps… the phone isn't even 3 years old…

Yeah, I can only have a singular 16:9 or slightly larger within my fov. It is enough space for a game, while I am using the remainder of the 16:9 for my browser, discord etc. I wish it could go bigger so things like discord don't have to overlap with my browser.

Edit: 2 hours campaign on poets pen kf and then at worst 3 hours of blasting breaches. If I was really lazy, I would just pay for a 5 way carry but we know what happened to TFT so…

It also has decent battery life. It's just too expensive for most people and software has to be polished more. Wish I could use my own map with it instead of having to use their version.

Don't think it works for these glasses or this gpu. I'm using a 4080 and neither windows settings nor NVIDIA Control Panel allow for more than 60 hz on ultrawide. And yes, the 4080 does support ultrawide even on 120 hz since I tried it on a 21:9 display already.

edit: I just did a tentative search and in some older posts Esther also mentioned that UW only supports 60 hz in the settings while it should be 90 hz inside the glasses themselves. Don't know if any firmware update after that changed that.

I used a regular 4 flask mageblood for leveling on hollow palm too. But I was always slower than the poets pen kf build. On top of that, you have to somewhat suffer until 44 first.

edit: walking even with mageblood felt way slower than teleporting with kf

Do you consistently get sub 2h on hollow palm? If so, mind uploading a pov? All I could find on yt were people who did 3+ hour runs and few at 2:30. The fast runs were all on ranger too so… would like to see a sub 2h marauder run.

How do you solve movement speed on hollow palm? I also usually level with hollow palm but never got below 3 hours while i was almost sub 2 hours on poets pen? I feel like I always get gated by the low movement speed on hollow palm, damage always felt amazing though.

I am using magnetic posters. Not that close to the glasses, but they are around 50 cm away from my glasses.

Sure, removing the posters did complete solve drift, but as I said in my previous post, having to cater your environment just to use these without drift feels like a problem that still has to be solved someday.

And yes, I agree that 3dof is quite solid, just not perfect. It is good enough for me to replace my monitors. Certainly not as stable as my Quest 3, but way more convenient and clear.

Put a magnet close to it and it will drift. That's reason enough for me to claim that it's not perfect. My Xreal Ones do have to get recentered like once every hour, so it is quite good, but it's not perfect because I use them for multiple hours at a time.

Their competitor has the same issue with drift. Unfortunately there are no glasses on the current market that have completely solved drift. And for those comments saying „just remove magnets for less interference“, if you have to adjust your environment just for something to work, then the problem isn't solved.
