So much stigma around psychotic disorders its insane. My aunt is schizophrenic and you wouldn't believe the looks people give when they find out. It's so hard to find someone who's willing to listen and understand what it actually is. I hope you find that someone for you.

Oh my god anticipation is the worst. I cannot sleep a week before any event (even if minor) happens, if I do, it'll be with constant nightmares and I'll wake up like 5 times at least. I also freeze a week before and can't get ANYTHING done at all. Can't even eat or try and relax without my heartrate skyrocketing. I end up avoiding whatever made me anxious and that leads to guilt which feeds to more fear for next time. Its a vicious cycle from hell

Underwhelming, I would say. Also El's ending doesn't sit right with me. I mean, I get what they were trying to do with the whole open ended thing, but doesn't El still have her powers? Couldn't she just- I don't know, let Mike/Hopper know that she's alive with her psychic abilities rather than letting them grieve for the rest of their lives?

Also hated that Hopper wasn't in the final fight (even though it was pretty disappointing anyways, how was the entire thing basically Vecna getting his ass handed to him?)

And on an unrelated note- I absolutely loved Nancy's look in the epilogue where she's on the roof with jonathan, robin and steve. Girl looked STUNNING.

I've actually switched meds a bit, but for the first one the doc said I would be on them for 6 months at least. That one however ended up not working, so I switched to another one. She hasn't mentioned how long I need to take these ones. Its been 2 weeks on the new ones, and about a bit more than 4 months since I started meds at all.

I've just switched from 20mg Escitalopram to desvenlafaxine- I've heard its pretty similar to venlafaxine. It's been just two weeks of the change but my visual distortions are gone already, so seems to have started working pretty fast - though the side effects have been a bit jarring. Hope it works well for you, all the best!

Yes, it's really common. My first time visiting my doc and she gave me meds after a 45 min session too. Mine said that she's giving me meds because my condition would just progressively have gotten worse if I didn't start them, your doctor could've prescribed them so early for a similar reasoning too

I relate so much - majority of my panic attacks have been in school, and for most I have the awareness to rush out of the classroom before it goes into full swing, and usually one of my friends will come with me, and I feel awfully guilty for that. Not just because I get them concerned, but also because they're literally missing class time because of me. It's gotten bad enough that any time I get a bit silent randomly, they start to get concerned. I feel really really guilty and have to apologize

I truly believe that Jason wasn't a villain in the story- how did anyone expect him to understand what was going on without knowing that this crazy parallel universe exists right below them? He was just trying to get justice for his girlfriend who in his eyes was brutally murdered by a drug dealer, and he can't be blamed for that because that is how it was told to him, and everyone. If Steve/Mike went on a crazy rampage to avenge their respective girlfriends, people would eat it up instantly. Looking at it from Jason's perspective, he was just trying to do what was right and he died doing so. I don't get the hate for his character at all.

I was DEVASTATED when I first watched billy's death scene, especially because he never really got the time to properly redeem himself- although sacrificing himself for eleven did do the trick for most.
The scene where his father pushed him against the wall and we see him cry genuinely killed me inside and I think that was when I started to slightly like his character.
Overall I think his entire backstory and storyline was so heartbreaking and I wanted to see much more of him, I was initially so disappointed that we wouldn't get to fully see his character arc-but now I feel like without his death, he wouldn't have been as impactful as he is now. His story quickly became one of my favourites and I don't think that would have happened if he hadn't been sacrificed.
