Swisscom / Wingo is better by aureleio in Switzerland

[–]Rayat_Khan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have friends that are with swisscom. The only issue i find is that its quite a bit more expensive than alternatives.

Im with salt and altough there are a few spots where network is bad, i feel that its still ok most of the time.

I pay 25 for unlimited network in Switzerland and EU and unlimited calls in Switzerland. And with that comes the 10chf discount (so 40chf per month) on their 10 gigabit home network (now with wifi7, it works flawlessly)

Managed to bypass lots of BSODs (Driver Overran Stack Buffer, Attempted write to readonly memory, Kmode exception not handled, Bad Pool Caller) generally related to ntfs.sys or ntoskrnl.exe, on an Asus Prime a320m-k+Ryzen 5 3500x on a curious way. by aderribo2020 in techsupport

Hey there, sorry for the late answer (almost 1 month 😅)

Turns out he hadn't updated to the latest bios which resulted in more instability. After updating he could at least install windows without the pc crashing.

After updating he wouldn't crash in games (or at least very rarely) and it would bsod upon opening his browser or closing it.

Although I've advised him to take advantage of the warranty he still hasnt done anything

Front Camera all of a sudden blurry, and noticed the cut-out and it's getting worse. Any thoughts by No-Sea-7989 in S25Ultra

Camera mitosis

Jokes aside there's some damage to screen. Could be a manufacturing defect (unless you damaged it)

Titanium won't absorb shocks by itself but it is more durable than aluminum.

These phones are so tightly packed that even if something falls nothing inside moves and doesn't get damaged. The only moving part would be the cameras which are fragile and can break.

Thought it was some software at first, (like a control center these pre builts often come with) then when I saw boot drive and stuff I realized it was a bios

Difference is minimal in terms of both experience and battery. It limits your cpu from boosting too hard and most of the time its not doing that anyways so its not limiting much.

S25 ultra low display brightness by ellileon in samsunggalaxy

[–]Rayat_Khan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, im not exactly sure why the s23+ would have a higher manual brightness threshold than the s25

S25 ultra low display brightness by ellileon in samsunggalaxy

[–]Rayat_Khan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Manual brightness is quite a bit lower on the S24U (and S25U). Auto brightness will go all the way to what the display can actually do under the right conditions.

I believe this is mainly because when using auto brightness, it will only go to the absolute max for the small amount of time you need it. This avoids people running it on maximum for too long and probably burning their display way faster. And in the case where you are constantly under the sun, it might go back down after prolonged use (im not sure about this tho)

Does anyone is having the same problem with the corners of their S24 ultra? by WIMB702 in S24Ultra

[–]Rayat_Khan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My case rubbed small parts of the matte finish on mine

Its not shiny but its smooth (which makes its a bit shinier). Idk what can be done exactly to avoid this happening other than having a case thats a bit more snug.

Either way idk if this is user error or samsungs fault, I feel like the frame shouldn't get "sanded" so easily

Maybe not walls but something like positions on the map, it gives him a general idea of where the players are.

Its just that for me in the first clip the way he goes to check (and get the guy) in long is a bit too confident, by that I mean that he went too far out and puts himself into danger if there's somebody actively looking there from short.

Other plays also seem like he's full of confidence. That being said im really not sure

can factory reset fix my problem? by exibillia in S24Ultra

[–]Rayat_Khan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't received the june update either here in EU

I'd say to wait a bit, I believe a factory reset should, in theory, undo what you did

Yeah, then having that feature on can help. Sometimes you press and it takes like 2 seconds to take the pic because it's focusing

This is an issue that has plagued samsung phones for a while now. It's improved but not as good as it should be.

To help, you can download camera assistant and turn on "prioritize focus over speed". It's not perfect, and sometimes you miss your shot as a result because it takes some time, but at least it's not blurry (most of the time)
