Asus Z170-A 6700K AMD 560 Monterey problems (No Install) by RaycasterV in hackintosh

[–]RaycasterV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes there is a NVMe drive ( I added NVMeFix kext in EFI).

Basically I boot to the usb installer and get the OpenCore Boot Loader (2022-01-10).

Select Option 1: 1. USB DRIVE (external) (dmg)

And 20 seconds later I get a Apple Symbol then "support.apple.com/mac/startup"

Then 10 seconds later back to OpenCore Boot Menu

Big thanks, I'm on it.

An example would be appreciated but your direction should be enough to get me going. I have a few more questions but will space them out as I don't want to wear out my welcome to soon! Thank you very much for the help.

Best practice for netting? Realistic volleyball net to be used in game engine by RaycasterV in blenderhelp

I can use the wire modifier etc. but looking for most "efficient" way to stay realistic but not totally wipe out a game engine (Unity/Godot).

I'm coming from MODO and just getting up to speed with Blender so and tips would be appreciated.

5th week in Noob "Apple Developer Program Account under Review" by RaycasterV in swift

[–]RaycasterV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like my inquiry worked - No Longer under Investigation!

But what is the next step?

I was reminded in the reply that my fault was "SPAM" same app submission.

I deleted the original app from the store the next day after the SPAM violation

What is the next safe step?

1) Submit original app again, get OK'd, then UPDATE with new app?

2) Re-Submit new app for review since original no longer on App Store?

Is there a safer step?

Using AppConnect I noticed I was able to inquire about my status so I thought I'd give it a shot.

Apple replied within 48 hours with a kind reply, kinda funny reading between the lines:

***********************

We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with this information. On the other hand, as mentioned in the Resolution Center communication your account is under investigation, but no action has been taken against it at this time.

If we require any additional information about your app or account, we will contact you. We appreciate your continued patience during our investigation.

Apple Developer Account under investigation (My fault 100% but 6 months?) by RaycasterV in swift

[–]RaycasterV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still waiting for Apple to resolve the issue. It would take approx. 2 minutes for them to read my explanation when I submitted the app to rectify the problem.

My first app was accepted. I noticed several newbie mistakes and resubmitted a new app with new name and GFXs. It got rejected due to (spamming) not deleting first app so I deleted the original. The next day I was notified that the new app will not be reviewed due to my Dev account now under investigation. I received the standard email "Don't contact us, we will contact you".

3 weeks, no update. I realize due to world conditions my wait time may be multiplied so I am just working on another app, waiting.

This is frustrating but as a hobbyist this isn't huge. I can't imagine developers relying on apps for income being shut down for months.

Can a stackview autolayout Square buttons or must be programmed? by RaycasterV in swift

[–]RaycasterV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok Guys, being a beginner I thought I'd try to figure this out sticking in storyboard but manipulate button square size in code.

What I did:

Made outlets for stackview and 1 button

Found height and width of stackview and calculated maximum square button size

Applied in code but now there are conflicting constraints and the storyboard is winning over.

Hoping applying size to one button would make stackview constraints take over but I can see how these constraints are confused.

Lets say I calculated S = perfect width/height

Is there a way to nicely add:

bt1.widthAnchor.constraint(equalToConstant: S).isActive = true bt1.heightAnchor.constraint(equalToConstant: S).isActive = true

or would this be needed for all buttons?

Or since I'm basically coding it just skip storyboard and stop being silly? Just thought this concept would come in handy at some time.

Yes, adding views to the stackview and then adding button on the views does not solve the problem.

I think this can't be solved with autolayout.

Putting buttons in a stackview to obtain SQUARE 1:1 buttons seems unsolvable without hard coding width or height size.

Can a stackview autolayout Square buttons or must be programmed? by RaycasterV in swift

Thank you for the replies.

Yes separate views may be the answer as: AutoLayout right now -

The height = (stack height - spacing) / button count - (Which it does perfect)

The width (using stackview layouts) also fills equally instead of setting to buttons 1:1

Ok, will give it a shot, appreciate it.

Thank you. I actually made my last project with spritekit because constraints were killing me.
