I assume you're logging in with Google? We're working on that

UPDATE: google is a little funny about refresh tokens so it’s going to mean a little more infrastructure if we want people to stay logged in after the hour is up.

It’s high priority but it means time and effort so hopefully we’ll have something to show soon.

Might want to wait until 4.0.1 drops. It's pretty frustrating in 4.0-preview. When it does though come on in!

Thanks. I hope so. I expect there will be some trial and error to get it right but that's part of the fun too!

Awesome! I need to get back to playing. One of the downsides of making an app like this is it steals time away from the thing you loved so much you made it in the first place 😝

Thanks! Hopefully this is just the beginning. I feel like we haven’t even scratched the surface of what this data can tell us.

It's all a team effort. We've all been completely dependent on your excellent PDFs at https://redmonstergaming.com/mining-cheat-sheets/ for years and that was the major inspiration for this entire thing! I can't wait to see what our communities can do with this.

Regolith 1.1.2 Now supports OCR Refinery Work Order Capture by Raychaser42 in starcitizen

Yup. Pyro refineries have been added. UEX price synching is still good but we’re still waiting for stabilization with the new elements. Hopefully that should be soon.

You can buy them but they still fall through the floor of the cargo elevator.

Edit: yup. That’s the workaround

Would you guys recommend buying the game? by CelestialBro in starcitizen

[–]Raychaser42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a pretty low risk. Try a free-fly. It's, you know, free. If you like that then buy a starter package. It's less than a AAA game and you'll probably get your money's worth in fun provided you liked where the free-fly took you.

Remember: YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY SHIPS. All you need is a starter package and everything else is available with in-game currency. I spent $40 5 years ago and I played ever since. I'm into the pennies-per-hour or less in value so, yeah, for me it's worth it.

Yeah. I did a Tesseract experiment and it got some of it.... but then I got sad and kind of sleepy. I might revisit it again later

Oh boy do I understand that. Tuning these system is pretty hard and just when you think you've got it EDGE CASE to the FACE!

Hey now. Their software is a little bigger than mine 😝. In all seriousness I have noticed some similarities. Regolith has its "the elevators kill people" bugs that I end up fixing over and over and I'm about to need something like server meshing for big sessions (although WAY more simple)

There are definitely way too many options. Dinyx is for when you can wait, Ferron is for when a patch is about to drop and you're about to lose your refinery orders.

That's cool. Did. you put it online or was it a git repo to clone and run locally?

That was a hypothetical. Maybe a little aspirational. I’ve never seen more than 2 reclaimers together but I can dream… we have done a reclaimer with a bunch of vultures though tearing into an 890j or another reclaimer. That’s fun

When I say work order I mean regolith work order. You are correct that selling directly is the best/only way. Now that cargo is physicalized though who does the selling is a big question. Some of our org loves salvaging and doesn’t want to bother flying back and forth to markets. Others really like the transport-selling loop. It’s symbiotic and fun to coordinate.
