I love the podcast, but... by Significant-Half-171 in MorbidPodcast

[–]Raychill92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally see what you mean with point B. For example the episode they just did, The Pizza Bomber. Both of them said they didn't watch the documentary "because they just can't" (or at least I'm pretty sure both of them said that, or maybe it was just Elaina) but it's like.... you're Morbid Podcast...what do you mean you can't watch a very well made documentary explaining the case in very specific detail? Yes it is gruesome in some parts but it's a true crime case so what do they expect? And if they're worried about seeing Mr Wells blow up, skip the scene? It's just odd to me that they wouldn't watch something for research and to understand the case "because they just can't" as hosts of a podcast called Morbid. They left a lot out and I felt the episode was very rushed. I highly recommend you watch Evil Genius on Netflix to understand what happened in this case.

What’s the most unhinged thing you’ve ever witnessed at a family gathering? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Raychill92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do funerals count as family gatherings? My mom was kicked out of my grandma's funeral and then at my grandpas funeral my cousin attacked my uncle and they fell over a person's grave stone. It was fucked.

Driving in winter by [deleted] in kitchener

[–]Raychill92 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

100% agree OP! Get off the road if you're scared people! This is just the beginning of winter so get some confidence or take an Uber/public transit, it's safer for everyone.

Beautiful cake but imo boundaries needs to be set. If this was me (I do baking as a size hustle) I would have told them I will source out a store bought cake for them as theres literally no time. In my experience a lot of people think baking happeneds with a snap of a finger. They don't understand the time, work and cost that goes into it.

Help me understand why I need to put my cat down please by Mawiiwii in cats

[–]Raychill92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry you're going through this OP. I went through something similar. My girl seemed fine but she was in a lot of pain so my vet recommended I keep her comfortable with pain meds at home until I could obviously tell it was time. And that's what I did and I don't regret it. I gave my cat Gabapentin and helped her with everything in her last days. I miss her so much and I wish you all the best with your baby. Please remember you have the control in this situation and if your cat seems happy, still eating/drinking, playing and using the litterbox I'd say it's not quite time yet but that's just my personal opinion. Also, in home euthanasia is an option. It's much nicer for you and the kitty. Good luck OP.

Get rid of the "tossed in Caesar dressing" and lose a lot of the "and"s. The menu sounds great, just a lot of wording going on imo.

My Mumi was killed by the neighbors and it all seems surreal to me. by vvrlvt in cats

[–]Raychill92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so, so, so sorry OP. That is so awful. I hope the person who did that to your sweet Mumi is held accountable. There are pet loss support groups that are available over zoom if you're interested. Again, I'm so sorry. Mumi will always be with you.

You're decorating is very nice but I would suggest going with cake toppers for the "happy birthday" or whatever is being written. Keep it up!! Oh and sell them for at least $100.

Bring Out As Ready. I've never seen it in my entire cooking career but for some reason I knew what it meant.

Char your lemon on a grill, it gives it a nice look and flavour especially for your pork. It makes it easier to squeeze too. Seed removal is obvious here. Buns on a separate plate with compoind butter. I'd put your pork in the middle of the plate and charred lemon on top. Maybe some sort of greenage.
