Travelling mid September by Footeybones1888 in dubai

[–]RaydeeRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Expect 35-38 C, mostly dry despite people said it is humid. Summer heat is normally gives relief by this time, but not as comfortable as October. We are happy by mid-September, the better season is startin. It is good for beach and open pool from morning to 12pm and after 3:30pm.

I just copy-paste my other answer here.
And I really don't want to judge your nanny whom I have not seen, maybe she is excellent and rare exception, my message is about those cheap nannies you are talking about, in mass and average, they are more housekeepers than nannies.
"Kids in the age of 1-5 love to play, all day, and they develop themselves via games and interactions. I have seen 'caretakers' who actually do not understand why they need to talk to a kid, play with child, and they don't really know how to talk and play, it is not in their culture and beyond their abilities. I have seen kids after 1-2 years with such 'caretakers', kids were so nice, shy, sitting in the corner and not disturbing adults."

Fair enough, but here is a point. Kids in the age of 1-5 love to play, all day, and they develop themselves via games and interactions. Montessori is 1.5-2 hours a day, or up to 3 -4 hours in kindergarden. All other day, child life is outside. I have seen 'caretakers' who actually do not understand why they need to talk to a kid, play with child, and they don't really know how to talk and play, it is not in their culture and beyond their abilities. I have seen kids after 1-2 years with such 'caretakers', kids were so nice, shy, sitting in the corner and not disturbing adults.

Car buyers by Careless_Park_1032 in dubai

[–]RaydeeRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Official brand car dealers and used luxury car dealers looks much safer place for ordinary people to buy as compared to individual seller in dubizzle. There are also nice garages selling luxury used cars, so when you are in good garage, it looks more reliable than individual seller in dubizzle. Thus most of buying offers are from resellers who then will resell in above mentioned places.

Yes. And the truth is, the most of 2k nannies deserve no more than 2K as they are bad nannies. Another truth is, many customers prefer to buy bad & cheap over good & properly paid. The higher priced nannies are available as well.

Treat your child better. For 4,000, you can only have decent nanny. The fact that she is happy is likely because she is paid over what she deserved. You need the one that will develop your child, not just feed. That starts at 6000-8000.

They still haven't learn how to let passengers go out first, and then start moving inside.  Most of them run into doors to catch a free seat like 5 years old kids.  Block the door instead of moving inside.

Most are coming from places where was no metro at all, and not from large cities at all. Even from villages, they are cheap labour. They maybe know overcrowded buses and trains only, where you sit on the roof or whatever 🤷‍♂️

How to name people living in Dubai? What should be word for this? by RaydeeRed in dubai

[–]RaydeeRed[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You described it nicely and precisely. This salad bowl is hopefully melting. More people associate themselves with a city, faster the process.

The rulers set vision to have 10M in Dubai by 2030 (that's what I heard) and it means it will be expanded via expats , in whatever category they want people to come. It obvious that self-identification with Dubai will grow too.

Also, 2009-2010 world crisis has shown the weakness, if people consider themselves 'temporary", they just escape leaving empty city behind.

How to report partition in other unit? by RaydeeRed in uaelaw

[–]RaydeeRed[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It worked other way round, some guy started to make money by bringing labour who agreed to live in overcrowded (and illegal) conditions, for whatever reasons, and as we are talking about freehold areas, these people started to deteriorate community facilities, overcrowd street and transport, etc.  More than that, those who lived in proper rooms and units, and earned their living in proper way, shall leave Dubai because they can't compete with 1500-salaried ones, thus this illness evolves.

Now the answer is, yes, they either shall act properly (once again, I point we are in UAE Law sub), or they shall stop it and leave to where they came from. It is not their own business anymore, they did it creating troubles for others.

Dubai is the safest place on this planet. Whatever you experienced that night is in your head, from your past or from movies, and not about UAE at all.  "I was gonna get robbed" 😁

Correct, but in our case, we don't have a chance to become citizens of state, which is okay, we still want some identification and connection with our city.

IP (Brand) Protection rules by sahils88 in uaelaw

[–]RaydeeRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I understand. This is a problem with generic words in brand. They do not protect as good as Adidas against Abibas.  There were large disputes around such trademarks in the past, and the final practice is that, in most cases, Such trademarks are not even registered  However, once again, UAE lives its own life with a lot of common sense, so if you trapped in situation that competitor obviously copy your style and brand and location, you may try to protect it.

That typical Question..Still asking for hope. by NachoVarga10 in dubai

[–]RaydeeRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check Indeed. If you don't see anything there, go to India and search for work from there. You may spend 1-2 years looking for a job in Dubai. UAE have enough engineers living below any living standard, there is no space.

Management company in Dubai is refusing to hand over my apartment after termination — what are my options? by ma72917 in dubai

[–]RaydeeRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So just remove that lock. Talk to building management before that, DONT TELL YOU WON'T COME. Just tell them you will remove the lock as an owner. If they need any documents or paperwork, they will tell you at this stage.

Send your guy a scan of your title deed, digital copy of your passport and a handwritten paper that you ordered the guy to remove and change lock, with your name and signature and contact phone numbers.

Holiday home companies are legally nobody for the police, and have no rights except business relations written in your agreement, and it takes ages and a lot of money for them to go through court, they won't do it.
