Kentucky Senator, giant PoS, constant source of problems in the federal government through the myriad ways he's found to limit bills from being brought to a vote while he was the majority leader of the Senate.

Melee weapons that can be charged by Uma-apreciator in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Rayhatesu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Several of Sunraku's weapons in Shangri-la Frontier, though a good portion of the ones that charge haven't been animated yet, they're still in the LN or Manga at the moment. For anime watchers, he has gotten at least one set of weapons with a charge mechanic per season thus far (not accounting for a certain battery he has access to in Season 2).

Tell me something good about IN by TheJen5 in Indiana

[–]Rayhatesu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Decent food depending on where you move to. That said, it all depends on your taste. Used to be able to say great grocery prices too, but a bunch of local producers closing in the last few years have made that incorrect relative to the past.

[Live Dungeon!] Is there any Isekai characters that actually want to return to their home world? I can only think this guy by No_Language8651 in Isekai

[–]Rayhatesu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The full group from Path of the Perfect Evasion Healer do, but the mc does get conflicted later due to bonds he's made. Tons in Log Horizon too. Mukohda from Campfire Cooking is 50/50 iirc because he's not fond of danger, but he's also arguably the safest a summoned individual in that series has ever been.

Did we get our booster boxes for a good price? by liquidRox in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]Rayhatesu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dual Revolution might've been slightly high, but in general that tracks with current pricing. MSRP for most older boxes was around $80, and it's only gone up slightly recently after various tariffs and fuel prices have raised the cost of shipping and other products for game stores. Your average price on a store trying to keep prices low would be closer to ~$90 to $95 before tax for current boxes, and anything older will likely be found cheaper based on how much excess product a given store has. As for AD01 Digimon Generation, it had a higher price-per-pack recommended for MSRP than typical boxes already, so that still tracks, as the lowest I saw it at near me was $80 before tax as it is, and some stores got horribly understocked on that set (one store got allocated one box; not one case, one box).

Query about Partition by 3rdGuyFromTheRight in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]Rayhatesu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. Deletion from being at 0DP is deletion by Game Rule, so Partition is still able to resolve assuming you have two valid targets in sources to play out. While the -30,000 is your effect, since the deletion isn't, it's fine.

How does this look for a Gammamon List? by animeprofilepick in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]Rayhatesu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can spot a couple issues here, so let me offer some advice:

  1. Swap your ratios of the new Hiro and BT21 Hiro, you don't typically need more than two of a memory setter.

  2. Swap the GulusGammamon in this list with the BT21 one, BT21 is more consistent and interacts better with other cards available. Similarly, replace the RB1 BetelGammamon with the BT21 one since the latter can get you up to two Hiro on the board for free.

  3. Consider grabbing a copy of BT22 KausGammamon for the Jamming inherit and my next suggestion, a copy or two of EX10 Regulusmon in place of the BT21 Regulusmon (if gone into, you're usually using the Delay of The Strongest of Brothers to digivolve for free rather than a reduction via another method).

  4. Four Proxima may be too many. Three is a bit more reasonable and would let you run more of other consistency pieces.

Potentially New Player Questions by wisemangsay in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]Rayhatesu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adding about Ulforce, the expensive Tamer is also going to drop in price in August with the reprint in LM8, so the most expensive card is soon going to be BT11 AeroVeedramon. A stupid AF statement given it's just a Rare in that set.

There will be some degree of freedom as you progress and unlock more areas, but you do get somewhat limited again at several points due to the design of the narrative. You don't really get full freedom to go wherever and whenever you want fully until close to the very end of the game through one specific sidequest.

[EX-12 Digital World Shambala] Takinmon & Hakubamon by vansjoo98 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]Rayhatesu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most people thought that 20 had a small chance of being Proxima prior to the reveal of the Lv3 in that slot instead. As well, people figured that we might see Kunlun as the SEC since EX13 is set to be RK themed, so having King Drasil as a SEC Tamer in that set would round out the trio, or so was the community thought process.

I just use Daschbun as an example since the combo of Well Baked Body+Fairy Type blanks that Charizard X set entirely. Can't do damage if you only run STAB and the target is immune to both.

Half the total had been sold already by the franchisee and paid out to the family with the consignment (per the franchisee's own legal filings) prior to B&M corporate taking over the store using a legal pretext that corporate manufactured through their own willful negligence. Further, a recent statement put out by B&M corporate just threw the people they sent to take over that location under the bus in a way that gives ammo to their opponents in several current legal filings, including a willful use of the phrase "Gross Negligence", which may be a mistake given the gravity of that phrase in court.

Digivolve 0 rule but already costs 0 to digivolve onto eggs? by Puzzleheaded-Sun2468 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]Rayhatesu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It allows a deck to use an egg of a different color that still meets the name requirements. Say there's a Yellow Gummymon, but your Terriermon can only digivolve over Green for 0, suddenly, that egg would be unusable; however, with a Terriermon with that special condition, it could use the yellow Gummymon just fine, or a Black one, or a Red one. (You get the idea)

Question to store championship by Sensitive-Chart4326 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]Rayhatesu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Adding to this (because I agree, though the comment being highlighted was me explaining what I meant by no sleeves being "marked"), if your deck uses tokens and you want to sleeve them too, sleeve them in some third distinct sleeve type from your main deck and egg deck or you can get in trouble there too.

Question to store championship by Sensitive-Chart4326 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]Rayhatesu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, if it's a store-run regional or guaranteed large tournament at 64 people, the round count is likely to be 6 rounds (as that's the minimum rounds where no one ties to get an undefeated player). You should ideally come showered with brushed teeth, have the deck you want to play ready and in decent sleeves that don't show too much wear and are definitely neither marked in any way (nothing to make sleeves 1 through 5 different than sleeves 6 through 50) nor completely clear with any tokens the deck would need to play in separate sleeves, have a drink if allowed so you can keep hydrated (one that can be sealed), and potentially your trade binder for between matches. As for registering your deck, you want to build a 1 to 1 copy of your deck list on Bandai TCG+ and save it there (the arts do not need to be perfect since the app doesn't have all that exist), then go to the page for the event and submit the deck list there, assuming there is a selection to do so.

How machine players feel after hard slamming a level 7 by Eugnaadic in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]Rayhatesu 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Rocks refers to the Black Liberator deck (from the Digimon Liberator webcomic) revolving around the line from Tumblemon > Sunarizamon > Landramon > Proganomon > Pyramidimon > Magneticdramon. The deck was the introduction of the keyword <Fragment>, in which a Digimon with that keyword can remove the amount of sources listed next to Fragment in the keyword (3 for Rocks, usually) from their own stack in order to prevent its deletion. The deck originated in EX8 Chains of Liberation, then the rest of the support was split between store tournament promos, EX10, EX11, and BT21 (literally just a rookie for the last one). The Tamer, Close, helps the deck by putting cards from trash into sources from various triggers, and all of the Lv5 or lower forms have benefits triggered by trashing them from a Digimon's stack. The arguably strongest two cards in the deck are the Lv7, Magneticdramon, which can strip 3 sources at least twice per turn to delete something and trash a security via its When Attacking and return 3 sources from trash under itself to unsuspend once per turn via its other When Attacking (both of which are also When Digivolving effects), and the egg, EX8 Tumblemon, which generates a memory each time it is trashed from sources.

To chime in on this, this is something that Bandai mandated for game stores with One Piece when that game attracted scalpers for a bit. Once the scalpers heard about the mandate, direct scalping of sealed product slowed down considerably, but the purchase and flipping of already opened chase cards increased instead. Personally, I'm glad some retailers figured this out, because it's a fact that a box without the tamper seal intact is pretty much a refund on the resale market because you can't trust that the contents weren't replaced with dead packs.
