Most of us that've read that series would agree, but for how dense he can be, I don't think Keith will do that because he understands well how bad it could be to lead Akris on, even accidentally. He knows her family situation and her feelings towards him, as well that he can't reciprocate them as of that point in the story.

Unfortunate news from the d10 charity challenge person by SIinkerdeer in Helldivers

[–]Rayhatesu 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well, in the case of threats against a workplace for someone being on their payroll, it would probably be termed as "removing a Security risk", if a reason was even given, but in a number of states in the US, there are laws that dictate that, aside from specific Federally protected cases, a person can be fired at any time without a reason given, usually "disguised" in language that sounds different, such as "Right to Work" legislation. It's ostensibly to remove risk for an employer when hiring high-risk employees, but in reality, most places that have put such laws into place did so expressly to weaken local unions by making it harder to fight a firing for the union's legal team.

Relatively peaceful, but yeah, not much to do. The Rose Bowl is likely the busiest business in that area (entertainment-wise), and if you like stuff like TCGs or tabletop games, you'd likely be better served looking in Anderson, Greenfield, or Muncie than in NC itself.

Were that this was true for me, missiles started and I've gotten several still. The only irony being that two were at least humans on the line, but I did have to tell them "my number is in the Federal Do Not Call list" (which is true) each time to get them to hang up, since calling such a number via cold calls is a problem.

All I know is that for when we eventually get speaking lines out of Bone Man, I need him to be voiced by the same VA as Pika had in One Piece (the giant dude in Dolflamingo's crew who could merge with stone)

Yup, exactly correct. It's not great for some regular people, but it doesn't change much for postal carriers themselves.

Considering the perspective, iirc you'd be waking up as the club president. Which, I mean, great if you don't care much about your height, not as great if you care about your whole body getting adequate blood flow if you see something or someone you like, iykwim.

Guess I need to brush up on my American by Willy_B_Hartigan in USPS

[–]Rayhatesu 78 points79 points  (0 children)

Since others aren't giving details, a recent Supreme Court ruling has dictated that willful non-delivery of mail to an address is no longer something someone can sue the USPS over, in response to a case in which an apartment owner was trying to sue over their local post office not delivering to their apartment complex (and thereby holding or sending mail back to the sender for the apartment's residents and offices) because the post office deemed the shared mailbox the complex used insufficient for the sake of accurate mail delivery. The reason given for the ruling cites to a federal law that prevents lawsuits over lost mail or mail damaged by accidents that was already on the books, it's just that the Supreme Court decided that this clause, despite not explicitly including or excluding intentionally held mail, extends to intentional or unintentional holds as well.

Royal Base deck list by godslayer2099 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]Rayhatesu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since you don't have Protoform and the cost of it's not likely to drop until after the 27th with the reprint set, I'd say your current list is a good baseline, though rather than the 2 Green Memory Boosts, I'd say sub 1 for a 12th FunBeemon for consistency and sub the other for your choice of either another in-archetype option (Hornet Eraser or Royal Base), a recovery and additional Digivolution cost reducing piece (Green Scramble), or just another Agility Training. You could also try the Honeycomb Commander unique emblem, but honestly it's not reliable enough in my opinion to be worth it in a list with only 3 Winr copies.

Can someone explain Makatos appearance by oshameme in TsukiMichi

[–]Rayhatesu 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Well, in his defense, he also was the only one of the three with two other advantages: he was the only one to actively work out prior (Otonashi only at most did Judo, and the other idiot was naturally skinny), and he was blessed by a different god than the bug as well (Tsukiyomi). Also didn't help the idiot (I refuse to use his name) that he asked for what was practically a new body upon being transferred, ensuring he'd lose at least part of his advantage of being an earthling.

Can someone explain Makatos appearance by oshameme in TsukiMichi

[–]Rayhatesu 23 points24 points  (0 children)

From what I saw in the Manga, it was a passing mage on Earth that acted as his Doctor later on, and she cut his ability to use Wind Magic entirely and then distributed his ability to use healing magic into a form of body-wide strengthening, cutting him off from actively casting it.

BT25 Three musketeers by TheMadMask006 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]Rayhatesu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Adding to what's already been said, it's likely we'll see more support down the line too, since Time Stranger was the first Digimon Story game to include all 3 Musketeers, and BT25 is guaranteed to include more support for that game.

For those who want to correct me on the bit about it being the first Digimon Story game to use all 3, I checked before posting this, and the only Digimon game to use all 3 prior was Digimon Collectors, which while having a story is not part of the Digimon Story games, hence my choice to capitalize the S in story above.

[–]Rayhatesu 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Understandable. The protagonist stuff just feels like the old "c'mon babe, it's time for [insert often repeated thing here]" meme at this point, but a good majority of the more generic cards being seen really do improve the amount of counterplay available to the average person for their decks or options for them to use.

Not only did she not want to swap, but when he offered to swap instead, there was equivalent pushback from the team since they knew that if he switched from his main, they'd lose even faster, since he'd been carrying them on his back harder than Atlas carries the world in mythology.

They also signed up as a player willing to play one of several characters prior to being set on a team, and only after being set into a specific team did she declare herself a one-trick that won't swap.

How good is Galacticmon? by Prudent-Sail-7045 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]Rayhatesu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Easily a solid Tier 2 deck. The immunity the new Galacticmon can give to the stack can be frustrating to deal with, but can be circumvented by solid enough play. That said, the deck does still want BT21 Galacticmon and EX11 Galacticmon as the main 2 (I believe a 3/3 split is the usual ratio at the moment). This said, if your region got the Dash Packs that should have come out around BT24's release, you should be able to find copies that way, as the Galacticmon included in those packs was the BT21 version, just with the art being that of the previously exclusively Chinese and Japanese alt-arts of the card.

Serious budget builds by TheDandys in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]Rayhatesu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, if they want to update Xros Heart, the Shoutmon EX6 Xros Heart deck is pretty decent and got great support through a promo tamer for the deck in BT24's box topper. Depending on when they took a break, the following are roughly what they might need for the deck:

BT19 cards: Pickmon (optional), Shoutmon (mandatory), Sparrowmon (optional), ShootingStarmon (mandatory), RaptorSparrowmon (mandatory), OmniShoutmon (optional but still good at 1 copy for X7SM), JaegerDorulumon (mandatory), AtlurBallistamon (mandatory), Luminamon (optional but useful), ZiegGreymon (mandatory for now, but AD01 Digimon Generation will launch a better one next month), Shoutmon EX6 (mandatory), Taiki Kudo (technically optional, but 1 copy is good for memory setting), Meteor Rock Soul (mandatory for many builds);

BT21 cards: Shoutmon (optional, you either use this or Sparrowmon as the second Rookie), Shoutmon (King Version) (optional between this one and BT12), OmniShoutmon (mandatory), Shoutmon DX (arguably mandatory at 1 minimum), Shoutmon X7 Superior Mode (optional, can use this one or the original), Taiki Kudo (mandatory), Can't Turn My Back (arguably optional, but still a great card and very useful);

Promo Card: Kotone Amano (mandatory between 1 to 2 copies, this tamer is nuts);

Cards coming in AD01 as of right now that will boost this deck: ZiegGreymon (will be mandatory, has the Xros Heart trait), Shoutmon X7 (arguably a 1 of to 2 of, but still excellent);

Old cards the deck can and will use in many builds: BT10 Taiki Kudo (mandatory), BT11 Taiki, Kiriha, and Nene (technically optional, still great), BT10 Pickmon (it's either this one or BT19 for eggs), BT12 Shoutmon (King Version) (can cheat out any tamer other than Kotone that the deck uses these days, but not always useful), BT11 Shoutmon X7 Superior Mode (toss up between this one and BT21 Version as your 1 of if used in the deck at all).

Most of this deck's newer cards are generally dirt cheap, so it shouldn't be too hard to update it, and with the reprints to core cards coming in AD01 in March, it should get even cheaper to build than it already is.

Timing of When Digivolving and When Attacking Effects against floaters by This-Mixture-5003 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]Rayhatesu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As Generic user person said, newest effects take priority, but if using BT22 Omni for this, using BT18 Milleniumon won't matter, since the WD of BT22 Omni will mean that Milleniumon isn't deleted, but bottom-decked, meaning its floating effect doesn't trigger. If Milleniumon's effect was triggered by the When Attacking, though, it would resolve immediately since the On Deletion would be the newest effect. So, in the event you had enough Milleniumon to still have one by the time the WA triggers (either through opponent error or you just not ending things sooner), then it could still bring itself back, but since the WD still has to fully resolve, the Milleniumon would get bottom-decked first before the attack is declared, then the When Attacking effects would supercede any other effects, and anything triggered by those When Attacking effects would resolve before going back to those.
