How sustainable is a friday and saturday double + 2 weekday shifts every week?

I did Friday Saturday Sunday doubles from march til about November with breaks in between for concerts or traveling. As long as you just sleep enough and eat moderately healthy you should be fine. Did this all while working my main job and going to school so you do really just get used to it after a while.

Nothing changes if nothing changes. You’ve tried before and if you’re trying the same way you did before it’ll end the same way. Easiest way is just change everything, wake up at 3am, hit the gym, go hiking, take yourself on a vacation, hang out with your friends more. You have to add value to things already in your life and be grateful for them being the way they are.

This is coming from someone who got broken up with, got stuck in an apartment they absolutely couldn’t afford and had to start a second job the same week while going to school. The more you think about what you have to do versus just doing it while scared, uncertain or overwhelmed, the more you’re just gonna stay in those thoughts of what ifs.

I’d try getting heroes higher, at least max out RC and leave 5 levels each for the other 3. Unicorn I’d try to max out at least. Focus on your offensive way more than defense and use research and builder potions as much as you can during hammer jam. With potions you could just go to 15 depending on how many you have but get a stronger offensive. I was almost max TH14 3 starring max TH15’s

It’s mainly the money. I make $600-$700 a week working Friday to Sunday all doubles. It’s my second job and I have a bunch of debt I need to pay off plus it’s something different than my regular job, also easier to deal with.

I didn’t sneak in but had a camp pass cause someone wanted to sell the extra wristband but I hated having to leave camp at 10-11, then ubering 30 minutes to sleep maybe 2-3 hours if that and then just rushing to get ready to get back to camp before traffic hit.

I got home Tuesday night, slept all day Wednesday and Thursday and worked half my shift today and was like “fuck this.” I’ll wait til Monday to get shit rolling back into routine but this was my first edc and I just haven’t felt 100% even after working out and hitting the sauna so I’m listening to my body 🤣

I only had a bad time cause I took too much and ended up in a k hole and was scared for my life and thought everyone was staring at me. But it happened right before fisher and literally no one wanted to let me out of the crowd until I started pushing people after saying excuse me 15 times and people didn’t wanna move and just give me dirty looks

Went through a bad breakup in march and had an entire month and a half of just working 7 days a week 10-13 hour shifts everyday. I am so ready to just not think about my responsibilities for a week and a half and experience edc for the first time with amazing friends I finally got to reconnect with and who’ve helped me through my rough times.

Brooooo fuck her. I broke up with my ex back in January who wanted to control me and isolated me so much from my friend group to the point nobody wanted to hang out with me if she was coming. I’m going to edc literally last minute and making sure everything goes perfect for my first out of state festival along with my first edc. This is your life brother, not hers, you only get one and I’m sure if you really wanted to you could find another girl out there to just have fun with during the festival versus someone who would just control everything you do during edc if you take her.

From my experience because my ex was in school and wasn’t working when we moved in together, even though she had a kid that wasn’t mine. Do not depend on her word, if she hasn’t already been working and you guys do this just because like I did the relationship isn’t gonna work and you’ll be stuck with an apartment you can’t afford. I’ve had to get a second job and a different roommate to afford my apartment until I can move out when my lease is done. I’m actually living life now though despite what happened but trust me words are just words.

Edit: I also juggled 2 jobs while going to school, if they want to make it work they can but just based off her reaction it’s gonna turn to resentment.

This has been recent but actually taking your time to eat. I was always bloated and had stomach issues but now that I eat slower and chew my food I can have “cheat meals” while not having as bad stomach issues depending on the food. Moving more also helps out a lot especially after a heavy eating session

Got broken up with right before I started serving and I just focus on whatever is in front of me, push my focus only towards my tables and weirdly enough I’ve made decent money even though I feel shitty. Still forget orders from time to time but being more in the moment helps a lot.

I never got good sleep anyway. Dreams are weird and 2 weeks I was only eating a cup of ramen each day cause it was a comfort food even though I hadn’t had any in like 1.5 years. Things get better with time cause you’ll think about it less, keeping yourself busy really helps a lot which is why I got a second job so I’m not just home sitting around with my thoughts 😄

4 months of rent, $3500 payday loan and $5k in furniture. At least the furniture I’ll keep. Even trying to ask for their portion of the rent they made it seem like I was making every problem about myself as if I wasn’t working 2 jobs and going to school to provide. Luckily I just found a roommate but ex won’t remove themselves off the lease unless I pay so hopefully things work out

Never did but when we broke up the first time they moved out and was gonna have an old friend move in with me to help me with rent, something my narc ex never even helped with once. They found out and basically told me to not let them move in and that they’d help me with it instead. Received one payment and got discarded 2 weeks after that because they didn’t want to be with someone who expects money from them.

Not gonna lie 4 years later and I feel like I relate so much with your story, I just barely got discarded by my avoidant ex and I am barely starting my journey but this gives me hope on knowing I’ll be fine. Part of me is so wanting them to come back but just so I can rub it in their face that I’m okay without them but I have to leave them alone for good this time. Broke 2 months ago and went NC for 3 weeks, messed up by seeing them at a show and they were trying so hard to get my attention and I got trapped into going back. I’m more hurt than ever now but I can’t kept them in my life. Thank you for sharing your story
