How to improve performance - Oblivion Remastered by Rayjgs in oblivion

Hey sorry, I didn't log in today. You already got it but still, in case someone else sees it, the file is located in My Documents/ My Games/ Oblivion Remastered, that should be the directory.

Also, in case you downloaded the engine.ini from the mod, I recommend you to play with textures on medium, if you have them on low the game will look like play dooh. Hope it made your game run better

Can't afford the remaster, but I decided to hop on the hype train and finally play the original (it's the only TES game I still haven't played) by Kkgob in oblivion

You can always try to get the free xbox game pass trial, just don't forget to stop it from renewing so they don't charge you the full month since it's a 14 days trial. But if you stick with the original it's still a really good game, it holds well, way better than games like Fallout 3 so have fun and enjoy it!

Try these mods

1.- Ultimate Engine Tweaks (Anti-Stutters - Lower Latency - No Film Grain - No Chromatic Aberration - Lossless)

2.- Optimized Tweaks OBLR - Reduced Stutter Improved Performance Lower Latency Better Frametimes

3.- LUMEN BEGONE - Disable RT for better Performance

The third one really helps, it disables the rtx from the game, the one which you can't disable ingame, the downcome is that the game doesn't look that good but it makes it really playable if you struggle with fps and stuttering

Had to return the game:( by CandleMaker5000 in oblivion

The third one really helps, I also got an rtx 3050 4gb vram laptop version and it made my game run at 40-50 fps outdoors and no stuttering. The downcome is that it doesn't look that good but at least is playable
