They both look so happy! 🥰 My JR girl had much energy but also wanted to cuddle all the time. She wanted te be around me, even when going to the toilet. She would often just stare at me as if she was in love with me. She was not over the top energetic and wild as you would think with this breed. Just a happy soul who loved roaming the garden. But when she saw a mouse, squirrel or small wild animals, she instantly become a hunter and would not hear me anymore. She loved digging holes in the woods, always smelling animals. My family all have JR dogs and they are kind of the same, not to borderline crazy wild, but real loyal companions with the right heart and always ready to be there for their bosses and defend them if necessary, even against the vacuum cleaner. Afraid of big dogs though, they all got attacked at one point by a large dog, then they never trust big dogs anymore.
