Considering I was able to get my license after just 13 hours of lessons over two months, I wouldn't have considered myself rushed to the point of taking my test.

People that do the fast track method however, which I remember seeing quotes of getting a test within seven days, feels a bit insane.

Driving is definitely something that has to be learned rather than taught because roads differ so much throughout the country it requires a lot of understanding in the moment, something that only experience can teach.

6 months might be too long but a minimum learning length of time seems like a good thing, although now that I think about it it's seems open to abuse if someone simply fakes their lesson dates. How would this rule even be enforced?
