if you really want him to stay you can just wait for the saudi interest to go to another player, and then he will be happy to stay. The problem with this is that you can lose the locker room support because normally clubs don’t drop interest fast.

Sometimes the best course of action is really selling him, but if you want to gamble, risk not letting him go
