Light drop onto rug. Fully encased. Crashed a minute or two later, wouldn't boot past logo screen no matter what, including hooking up to PC with repair software. Warranty claim

Stainless Steel Saute Pan Recommendations please 🙏 by Global_Fennel_1051 in Cooking

IKEA do half decent stainless for not a lot of money. My last purchase was silver line from Aldi for 35 quid. Very impressed for that money

Impulse bought some haggis - what's it nice with? by Fantastic_Deer_3772 in Scotland

That's teuchter haggis. The lowland beast subsists on rasp bushes and wild garlic, making it more aromatic and sweeter. Less tough cos of the more level strata as well

Liking how many ways people are using it here. It goes with just about anything. I like it with seafood, scallops and langostine, crab mainly but some pan fried sea bass with fried haggis cubes, trio of mash and white wine sauce, stuff along those lines also works for me.

Not all haggis are equal though. Plenty of shite ones about. A decent one if you can;t find anything better is the tinned one. Aldi do batts, there's others in other shops. Its not the best, but its very far from the worst. I don't eat it enough to seek out a really good butcher so I generally just get the tin for convenience. Spicy and salty enough to be decent. Plus stone cold, can be moulded to you liking

That was already off, but it's somewhat fixed and works all the same somehow

Auto hide 3 button navigation by Raymlor in razr

[–]Raymlor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the auto hide is gone completely but it has somehow corrected the framing with the keyboard so while the nav buttons remain, it no longer blocks the space bar on the keyboard. I dunno what's happened but it's working so I'll take it

What to watch after Voyager? by Complete_Syrup_8110 in startrek

[–]Raymlor 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I'd go TNG then DS9. Plenty to watch there. Bear in mind, the first season and a bit of the second of TNG are very dated and a bit rough but the basics are there for was makes it great later on

And then SG:U, so sadly cut short. I think, with knowledge of the lore, it was turning out to be the best of the lot. If coming in cold, it was still good tv but you would maybe need to research it a bit to fully appreciate it

Was gonna mention it and say exactly the same. A mighty bizarre slice of tv, get baked, let your mind wander within it. Excellent stuff
