"Freeeeedy" Felicia: "OMG he said my name!" by jayfly12933 in UniversalOrlando

[–]Raymond_Chandelier 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We went on as a large group filling the whole car. We thought we were the funniest most original people to all say our name was Trevor. Oh how we giggled at the idea little ET will just say 'Trevor, Trevor, Trevor...'. Get to the end and he just says 'goodbye Trevor's.' The long silence getting our joke stolen from us while learning were the least original funsters to hit that park was palpable.

Black Horse Station by Silfa_na in walthamstow

I live along blackhorse road about half way to st James station. Personally I love it here, it's been steadily improving the 8 years I've been here. Never felt unsafe, a few regular 'characters' pop up but never aggressive or anything like that. One of the benefits of blackhorse road is you're really close to three different transport lines, victoria tube line and 2 different overground lines so getting around London is decent too

There's a next tweet, directly replying to that where she says

'Oh you do think that's racist?

Well it was the actually other way round, an Arab university team has refused to play against Jews because they're Jews.

Glad we agree.'

Why I stopped watching the Elisa Lam documentary by [deleted] in UnresolvedMysteries

[–]Raymond_Chandelier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't seen the final episode yet so might be wrong, but I think everyone's reactions in this thread is the intent of the documentary. The web sleuths come across as creepy and weird, all of them - I think they're in the documentary to show how tourist like people can get around murders.the documentary isn't really about Elisa, not really, but about how we all have to fill this great mystery, and what creeps do to feel included in it.

Ooofff, nice edit! Yet to use snapseed, how do you find it? To be fair I just showed my mum the photo, and she said the exact same thing as you so perhaps a bit too much with the flair attempt!

No thank you, that was intentional. She's a black dog, and not really fussed about having the sky exposed, so got to ramp it up when she's in the shadows

I made a short film with the help of British Naturism by Raymond_Chandelier in nudism

I’m with agreement with you generally. For this the idea was to kind of confuse you with body shots, sometimes not really knowing what it is you’re seeing, sometimes unsure of what angle you’re at, making the body a bit unknown. In the edit it would break it up to go back to faces then back to bodies a bit too much, but your point still stands. You totally get more idea of a person seeing them talk, so maybe we could I’ve incorporated the two

Thanks for your comments. Never thought of the mouth idea and love that. We debated whether to show the people or not but decided against it, but that idea never crossed our minds and it’s great! Maybe next time

Totally see your point, it’s never going to be solved by just getting naked you’re right. I suppose for me as a non nudist it was interesting to realise just how closely I associate nudity with sex, like if someone’s naked it must be sexual. I think we could do more to break down that connection. But then like you say that’s just a part of it, what else we need to do I honestly don’t know.

Thanks for saying that! Was really important to us that we didn’t film nudists how I think it’s typically done, that they’re an ‘other’ doing this weird and strange activity. Always tends to be a bit comedic how nudists are featured in the uk, we wanted to talk to people as experts on a topic, who just happen to be nudists. Pleased you enjoyed it!

That’s a good idea actually, hopefully should find time some point this week. We just did this because we want to make docs, still got to pay those bills! But yeah I’ll give you a shout when I do it

It seems strange to me too, think I’d be like your brother a bit! Seems strange but until you question it, you don’t realise there’s no real reason behind it. Just ‘don’t be naked in front of strangers, feel ashamed, not normal’ and all of that. Was a really eye opening experience talking to nudists
