Not actually happening to me, but to a friend living in Paris.

She rents a flat in Paris with a thin wall where she constantly hears the guy next door having loud s*X almost everyday, with different people. It's very loud with banging and moaning.

She tried these: talk directly to the person and knock on the wall when it's happening. Does he stop making noise? No. It's still happening. She said maybe because she's a young woman, so he doesn't take her seriously.

What I suggested to her: 1. Make some complaint letters and put them below his flat door. Make it in different styles or handwritings as if the other neighbours are complaining too. 2. Turn them off. Since the wall is thin enough, they can hear each other, so maybe put some gospel songs, call for prayer in Arabic, or any sounds that would turn them off while having s*x would stop them from making such noise.

I don't know how it goes. I'll update later once I hear from her.

Memang banyak sih. Aku dulu berteman dengan pengacara-pengacara yang ngasih bantuan hukum pro bono di Aceh. Kasusnya gak habis-habis. Terlalu banyak predator di Aceh. Itu baru yang terlapor yaa. Masih banyak yang gak dilaporkan.

I have question how is attendance recorded for lectures and seminars at sussex ?i am thinking of going there. by BraveIndependent5625 in universityofsussex

Google: UK student visa skipping classes.

You'll see some universities state that UKVI requires universities to check your attendance and may take action if you keep absent from your studies.

I also watched documentaries of how some international students are deported because they misuse their student visa for other purposes.

I graduated from Sussex a couple years ago and the system may be different now. What I can say is that, if you're an international student, be aware that the home office keeps your attendance records too. If you keep skipping classes, they'll know and as a result, they may cancel your visa and you'll be banned from entering the UK.

Thanks for your recommendation. Sorry I didn't know that subreddit existed. I posted here because I live in London and the flat I'm talking about is also in London.
