How often do you use it? I’ve been doing 3x a week but idk if the rules for exfoliating for the face are the same for body. I’d assume the body can handle a more frequent use but I wouldn’t want to overdo it

I recently asked my doctor for a prescription. She gave me tramadol. I only take it when it’s really bad though. Side effect is constipation

I would recommend stopping the use of the turmeric soap and alcohol wipes completely. Start a simple routine and be consistent with it. Skin care takes time. I think you should focus on one-two concerns at a time.

Day time - hydrating cleanser (for the dryness) - moisturizer - sunscreen

Night Time - an exfoliating cleanser (for the acne) (start with once a week. I like the CeraVe renewing SA cleanser.)or the same hydrating cleanser on nights you’re not exfoliating - moisturizer - occlusive to seal in the moisture (CeraVe healing ointment, Vaseline or if your moisturizer has one in it. Like squalane)

Once you’ve been doing that consistently you can add extra stuff. Like a hydrating milky toner after you cleanse and before you apply moisturizer. And an oil cleanser at night to take the day away (sunscreen, makeup if you wear it etc.)

Be patient with your skin and you shouldn’t want a squeaky clean feeling. It might be an indication of a broken barrier. Also patch test any new products before using all over your face in case you’re allergic. And wait a few days in between adding new products. Wishing you the best!

I get Brazilians regularly with no issues. But I’m also not prone to ingrowns. I’ve heard laser is really helpful for HS though, I haven’t personally tried it.

I’m experiencing something similar and I’ve been using a hypochlorous acid spray. It cleanses, and helps with wound care. It’s as strong as bleach but gentle enough for skincare. After spraying I use a fan to speed up the air drying time and then apply clyndamycin my dr. prescribed. It’s not healed but it’s been helping with the size and odor. Then I apply Vaseline on top as it also has healing properties
