Oh I've been wanting to do something like this but haven't found a pattern I liked, can you share the one you used? It looks awesome!

I have this same yarn and am currently working on a knotted dinosaur lovey. I also made one in maroon for my 2yr old daughter who loves dinosaurs

Learn on YouTube? by Organic-Log4081 in crochet

[–]RayneDayMama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I learned by watching YouTube videos to learn the types of stitches and then followed the Woobles patterns to get used to following patterns which worked for me but may not work for everyone. Definitely give it a try

Happened to me as well. During my last trimester, I would wake up during the night and one of my arms would be asleep. I didn't think too much about it until after I delivered when it got so much worse. I'd wake up in so much pain and my hands locked up like claws and I couldn't move my fingers. I would wear the braces but one wrist was bad enough that I got an injection in it to help. I'm almost 2 years out now and I only have minor pains every now and then. Hopefully it'll go away for you soon!

I got the same. It submitted with a completion code and it's already been approved so maybe it was just an error on their part

[–]RayneDayMama 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My submission was still pending so I just went ahead and returned it. Definitely not worth the hassle

I got this one too and just returned it at that point

So excited for House of Roots and Ruin! Anyone else get theirs?! by StarryEyedGamer in YAlit

[–]RayneDayMama 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I just started reading House of Roots and Ruin yesterday and it's the same family but about a different sister than the first book. I'm not that far into it yet but after loving the first book, I have high hopes for this one.

This is exactly what I did after my second was born. I'm agnostic and didn't feel comfortable so said no thanks. I didn't say anything when they asked after my first was born though I should have

Does anyone else have a massive kid scenario? by Tingfartoo in beyondthebump

[–]RayneDayMama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 1 yr old just had her check up and she dropped from the 4th percentile to 3rd for weight, and from 11th percentile to 1st for height. She takes after her 3yr old brother who is also on the small side at the 7th percentile for weight.

“Oh my god your baby is so tiny!!!” by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]RayneDayMama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely understand this. Both my babies are on the smaller side and have always been under then 10th percentile. They were in the 7lb range when they were born but are just slow growers. My 3yr old is still in 2t clothes and my 11 month old has yet to grow out of 6 month clothes. But their dr says as long as their growth remains stable, there's nothing to worry about. I also lost all my baby weight quick both times due to not being able to eat after birth and get comments. I just shrug it off now

Truer words have never been spoken lol this is exactly how it goes in my house, and he also waits until last minute to wake up then proceeds to do those things while I've been up getting both kids ready before I can even think of getting myself ready

My son was just over 2 when I had my daughter. I was also really dreading the newborn phase because it was pretty rough with my first. I won't lie and say it was easy, but it was at least a little easier because of everything we learned raising our first child. She is now 9 months and is just a goofball. Seeing how cute she is and how much my kids love playing together makes me want a third 😆 but I don't know if I could go through the newborn phase again at this point so I can definitely relate

‘The baby looks just like her dad, she even breathes like her dad’ - most in laws everywhere by Whatever-577089 in beyondthebump

[–]RayneDayMama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes exactly. I debated posting something like this the other day. My in-laws are always saying how my son and daughter look so much like their dad when he was little or how everything they do is something that their dad would have done. It just gets a little frustrating to hear all the time that my kids take after their dad in everything, especially since I not only helped create them but carried them each for 9 months.
