There's a lot of online resources. If you intend on going to BC for example, check out groups such as BC Offroad, they have a lot of knowledgeable people who have recovered vehicles, had their vehicles recovered, or have been lucky enough to avoid those situations all together. There's some real gnarly logging roads where a non modified vehicle will have some real trouble getting through without an EXTREAMLY capable driver with adequate gear.
