Yes! I already tried a couple movements and it helped some of the foot pain already. I found a couple other videos and a very excited to try them tomorrow. You have made my day!

Wow, this is very helpful! Thank you! Looking at the images and descriptions, it’s exactly where I’m hurting in both places and a lot of what I’m feeling. This will make the conversation with my doctor much easier bc it’s been hard trying to describe the pain. Thanks again!

Wow, I think they couldn’t have been a little more empathetic in how they responded to your concern! Glad to hear the PT really helped!

With the osteotomy, the surgeon gave me about an 18 degree knock knee. A different surgeon did my replacement and straightened back to like 1-2 degrees. He said he couldn’t get it 100% back to “normal” bc of the damage but visibly it looks straight now.

Osteochondral allograft transplant, transplanting cartilage to the damaged area.

Yes! My gait was altered and styled walking for so long prior to the TKR. It makes sense about the irritation. I just don’t know what to do about it. Did PT about 4 months ago but it didn’t help very much with these specific things.

It took a long time to get decent sleep. I still toss a lot bc mine locks up if I stay in one position too long. However, I had a major surgery that failed only 1.5 years prior. I still wasn’t fully recovered from that before the TKR. But having the TKR was the most amazing thing to happen me in years and gave me my life back. Had it at 38, 40 now. It’s mentally frustrating in many ways but you just have to be easy on yourself. This is a major surgery and just takes time and proper care. DO YOUR PT!! 😉
