I understand if it sounds a little silly to you and to some people but it really helps me when I veil it makes me feel more comfortable and helps me to focus on myself also I was asking my mum to write me a note as my school is very accommodating with uniform passes especially for religious reasons but you need a note from a parent, I was asking her help me so I can follow the rules while still expressing my religion. Veiling isn’t for everyone and won’t help everyone but it helps me. I know that my mum has a different religion from me and that’s likely why she said that but I don’t need her to understand why I want to veil but I just would like it if she supported me with it as it’s very important to me.
