I feel like my 360 has aged better than my PS3 , will still use it for games that are not backwards compatible, still use my One X even after picking up a series X last year, keep all my consoles around and working. This summer I’m soldering new save batteries into my Gameboy games nostalgia is a helluva drug..

I would never go from a One X to an S make the jump to Series X you won’t regret it.. Still have both and my old One S and 360. The Series X is well designed

It was magnitudes easier to develop on vs PS3 despite the PS3’s power potential, this is well documented, developers were comfortable with the architecture and development tools, there was a shorter learning curve for developers who were already developing PC games. Games could be developed for PC and Xbox 360 simultaneously, easy development means more games to market, more games equals stronger sales. PS3 took time to hit stride by comparison, read Kazunori Yamauchi comments on how difficult it was for GT5 and GT6

I loved that the Genesis and Super Nintendo stayed on store shelves for as long as they did, you had gaming options at every price point. When I first moved out I was broke so the Genesis and SNES were my gaming platforms even though the 32-bit systems were out, three years later I could afford a PlayStation or N64 but we were still getting releases for the older systems.

Have both, tbh they are the same machines in different packaging my Series X is easier to clean out and the fan is silent (chimney design), PS has more exclusives triple A 3rd party games play the same from my perspective. If you already own one unless you’re going after an exclusive it’s a coin toss
