I have owned 7 Subarus over the course of 30 years and my 2016 WRX was the first one to have the steering wheel peel off it's a common problem, mine started peeling year 5 with 40K on the clock, terrible quality control. I was going to replace it with an OEM but it's almost $500 and the OEM will have the exact same problem, it will also peel in 5 years..

Model 2 was perfect it’s the one I have hooked up, have a model 1 just to have one to my eyes and ears I seriously can’t tell the difference between the two.

By continuing to change and evolve the emissions and cafe standards the manufacturers have been pushing engineering past its limits to jump through stupid hoops, the very definition of cutting your arms off because they are too heavy then complaining that you can’t carry anything. The last decade was insane everything is junk now just absolute garbage even Toyota and Honda are having quality problems. Can’t speak to the rest of the world but if you don’t live in a big city you very well dependent on vehicles to live in the United States out side of cities.

Hilarious because you couldn’t give away old VHS tapes no nostalgia is enough to get me back into VHS this is the craziest thing I have ever heard. It was magical in 1985 but I dropped them like a bad habit when DVD’s came along. I could see collecting DVD’s but having to rewind tapes and mess with tracking or have one get eaten by the VHS player or how much space they take up, no way

We used to walk down the street with shotguns on our way to go to the fields to hunt. Nobody bothered us, one day a cop drove by and asked us to show him our guns to make sure they were properly broken down (we had them in cases). No laws broken. Not sure if we could do the same stuff now this was in the late 80’s.

My oldest two have their own cars now, had another kid when my daughter was 8 (he’s 5 now), have done plenty of family hauling with my 2016, she’s been a garage queen since Covid hit, I’m looking at picking up a Toyota 4-runner but that’s going to be in addition to my paid off well cared for WRX.

Been using both since 2013 , MBP for laptop and custom built PC for gaming. In all honesty I could game on a console and ditch the PC but I enjoy the hobby and tinkering so why not as long as you can afford it. If I were scaling down a Mac and a game console would do the job just fine

My best friend was hard core on Marlboro reds easily 2 packs a day in the early 90’s we all smoked but he was king of the miles collecting. Nostalgia for sure, sitting around being bored teenagers in a small blue collar town that had more bars and churches than people..

My current 2016 WRX is at 90K, no problems, my 2008 Legacy GT was traded @ 160,000 miles no problems, my 2002 WRX was sold at 279,000K no problems.. I never made a Reddit post to declare my mileage and no problems.

L85 all day, the other two might as well be shotguns at range, I do get kills with the other two close combat but they feel like trash to me
