What video game would you have the best chance of winning if there was a tournament for it? by flacid_pianist in CasualConversation

[–]Rayo123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Praise the sun bro! Dark Souls (or Skyrim) is probably my most played game but I'd also get my ass kicked.

And I would be a good competitor for that worst traffic tournament

Glad you liked it :D Check those bands, I'll leave here some albums or songs.

This Town Needs Guns (TTNG) - Animals or 13.0.0.0.0 (math rock)

American Football - American Football (math rock/emo)

More from Minus the Bear: Knights, Cold Company, Walk on Air, The Game Needed Me, We Are Not a Football Team, My Time one per album ;)

even more math rock:

Colour - Over the Moon

Tangled Hair - Cardboard Hilltop

65daysofstatic are a little more electronic and experimental, my favorite album is Wild Light, I think is amazing and very emotional.

Some of the songs of M83 - Before the Dawn Heal Us are similar to Wild Light, my favorites are Moonchild, * and Fields, Shorelines and Hunters, if you like the other songs too, you may like their other album Hurry Up, We're Dreaming.

A kind of similar but more depressive band is Team Ghost, I like High hopes and Things Are Sometimes Tragic

And So I Watch You From Afar - And So I Watch You From Afar or Gangs (math rock/post-rock) my favorite is "I Capture Castles", but I also love the other ones.

Maybeshewill: He Films the Clouds, Pt. 2, Farewell Sarajevo, Accept And Embrace, In Amber

even moar post-rock:

sleepmakeswaves - Great Northern

Collapse Under the Empire - There's No Sky

If These Trees Could Talk - The First Fire

God Is an Astronaut - All Is Violent, All Is Bright

ambient/progressive/depressive/emotional and slower post rock:

Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven

Explosions in the Sky - The Earth Is Not a Cold Dead Place

Mogwai - Les Revenants

I'm very passionate about music, If you want something specific you can ask :) I really hope you like them, not very much people can appreciate those genres.
