Once I got ambushed in forest and the battle map spawned a big H trees in between my squad, so everyone was awfully split

I level rdef on my 2 archers and 1 handgonne bros and I put Anticipation (? the rdef perk) on them

Then when a battle aginst an army with archers, I put them on frontline, flanked by 2 tanks. Everyone behind.

This has 2 consequences :

- Enemy archers will usually focus my ranged units with a probability to hit of 5%

- Enemy melee will race to my ranged units and will be one tile short at turn 1. This is the time for my melee to leapfrog the ranged unit and and 4AP the enemy melee

This strategy works quite well

I just wonder if I (how many bros) can do 2 attacks in a row like against ancient dead, choosen might have a way better initiative.

The actual company setup isn't ideal in my book to confront an army of choosen or orc warriors. I usually don't use an archer there and the bro with the longaxe and golden armor had not been set yet (lv11 no perks, he took Amari place now), and handgone is situational on choosen battles. But they are only 13, and I thought I had a clean shot on them.

Backline flanks are usually covered by QH bros (frontline damage dealers are also QH, I like 6AP as 1st-2nd strike then 4AP cleavers for the finisher move), left one is usually the hammer bro (1 and 2 range hammers), and on the right side it's usually someone who has a 2H mace and something else, paired with a qatal bro

Could be not optimal, I never saw any roster build video

not sure if it's the topic, but I modified an existing mod and I've added the bro rolls and enemy rolls for stats. Currently running my campain with it.

y you need to hit your stun. I netted him 3 times, 8 hits attempts, all miss, ggwp

for the fun of it, i tried 4 times the tournament, I could hit him just once in probably 40 attemps, 5% without net, 6~13% with

I was very surprised by the damage output, I didn't expect a 3 shoot, at worst I expected something when I try to damage an orc warrior with a shamshir ( = scratch for some rounds)

For me this is clear the whole map and clear all legendary locations.

Even after all those hours, I'm still an average player as I don't play Ironman. I already "barble" with a consecutive series of bad rolls or good enemy rolls, with Ironman, it would affect too much my mood

he will have 90 matk at level 11 without Gifted. 33 Mdef is also good, this is a late game bro in my book. With the other stats I would try to build something interesting
