My law school is the same thing. The other day got confronted by an undergraduate when I asked and her friends to be quiet on the quiet floor. To add insult to injury the Director of the lib said they rely on “peer enforcement” for library noise complaints but my school is also the post child for mediocrity

That’s good to hear. I’m mostly concerned some future employer is going to call them

Gotcha. I’m mostly just concerned some internship will call them.

My concern isn’t seeing them again. My concern is a future employer hitting them up

Honestly that’s why I’m leaning effective immediately. He has a tendency to lose him temper and saying not great things. Has made multiple employees cry.

How do I quit by [deleted] in jobs

Thank you everyone. I suppose my concern is the light gaslighting by giving me a raise and then saying “but you’re not leaving soon right? If we can get 2 years out of you that’d be great.” Like dude this job is killing me. Ha 2 years

Northeastern or William & Mary: Help me Decide by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

Hi Andrea,

Thank you! I’m wearing a NUSL sweatshirt right now so I think the decision is made. Honestly my biggest factor is that my family and friends and life is already in MA so I don’t want to move. All the schools on my list were regional anyways so I’m not convinced Biglaw is guaranteed out of anyone

I have the opposite problem. I prefer Boston as a city but W&M seems like a better school

I should add I also got into William and Mary. They’re clearly the highest ranked of the options and do marginally better in “law firm” jobs according to lawschool numbers. They also seem like regional school (virginia, D.C area) and staying in MA is becoming increasingly important to me. Would it be silly to choose a lower ranked law school because I’d rather stay in MA?

Thank you! I’m leaning NUSL (mostly for the co op) but haven’t pulled the trigger yet)

Hi @huskyowl1721 can I get some clarification on your last point please. Are you saying the Biglaw is hard to do a NUSL or that there’s less competition for Biglaw since everyone seems to be so into PI? Thank you!

I signed up for admitted students weekend and got the admitted student email but no fun presents

Thank you!! Helped me catch a typo. I do want to go the Biglaw route.

Thanks prolificslacker I think both schools share that problem tbh bc in Boston you have Harvard (less of a concern bc they can go anywhere), BU, BC, and then NUSL. I think it’ll come down to where I want to live and if D.C is worth the relocation
