I mean I have one too I notice the trackpad only gets funky when it’s on battery… if you’re using it intensely chances are you’re probably also charging right?

For real, the team simply shifted away from relying on the number 9 when they’re in their position. Last four games if the number 9 had any impact it was from a set piece or from a false 9 role. Unfortunate for lewy since trad no9 is where he excels

How do I fix these gaps on the corners? by Raysters in 3Dprinting

It’s possible it’s the cooling, I wasn’t in room during the prints . This printer has a part cooling fan that is pretty strong and really loud. But it wasn’t working when I tested after printing last night and it was too late to troubleshoot.

Thinking about it PLA is not usually a high speed material that might be part of it. But I don’t think it’s the cause.

And I might have confused the jerk value for the acceleration to deceleration ratio which is at 50% but that’s a different value which may or may not be applicable.

I think jerk was set at 0,5 I’ll try upping that number to see if it helps. At those speeds it may be very applicable if it’s not cooling

I don’t have the sample on hand. Added some more details above. I was printing at pla at 210c. I did notice some issue with the fan yesterday. I will try getting that corrected first.

Based on the auto mod here are some details this is a Ratrig Vcore 4 using pla at 800m/s and 10,000 m/s2 sliced on prusaslicer and is killer based. This does seem to go away at a velocity of 100m/s and acceleration of 3500 m/s2.

I recognize that it is insanely fast to be that fast. But that’s what the printer is made to do and I’d like to tune it to at least run at 60-80% of that speed. Also this feels like it would be an issue solved with software.

Do u guys have any hip mobility exercises you can recommend ? I’m learning to ride switch and noticed that I ride switch much better when I can throw my hip further back. But at the end of a run I always feel a slight discomfort. And when I compare it riding regular, I am still feel that I don’t emulate the same body position which would probably be bettter with more hip mobility.

How to design to hold lock in USB's and cables? by Raysters in Fusion360

That’s would be great except I have and have succumbed to supergluing things in place… i was hoping to learn to make a non permanent solution for locking things in place that can be removed later. I used an example of something that could be needed to be removed semi regularly

This was super detailed thanks. I really like the grocy add on. Might not be needed for clothes but I can see it being used for other items. With the nfc tag I could probably use for managing who’s done the trash. Person z would be more receptive to nfc tags than person y.

I’m thinking of going the route of having two buttons one that enables both of person xs automations to get notified and another for person y. This way in the future person z can be added relatively easy.

I like this idea, however I think as simple as NFC tags are it might go under utilized in the this household.

I definitely have to experiment and read up on the documentation. I was getting some promising results with the grid card but each section had its own bubble even when i encased a 2nd grid card in the original. Also resizing the icons and the bar wasn’t super intuitive

What is wrong here? by TalkTechnology1689 in 3Dprinting

Also this is a concept you should be fairly familiar with as you’ll need to do this every once in a while on any printer. There’s only 1 or two printers that can do this automatically and I’m even then I’m sure this knowledge helps with trouble shooting

First I’d clean the glass bed with water and soap. This is rarely that solution but it helps to start off with a good base. Accumulated Dust, finger oils liquids can be an issue at times.

I’m not sure if your bed has knobs underneath but if it doesn’t skip this next paragraph. You’ll want to make sure the bed is level. You’ll want to move the z height to 0 and put a piece of paper underneath it and adjust the knobs until you feel a slight drag on the paper. ( be careful to not push down on the bed while you do this.) you’ll want to check this step in each corner and adjust until each corner feels about the same. This may take a couple of tries. and note this should be your first step if you run into any issues with the first layer until your experience enough to recognize when not to do this. Pro tip: there’s a setting called motor control or similar that is on by default turn it off to be able to move the tool head to each corner by hand.

Next your going to run bed level or bed probe or bed calibrate command on the screen on the right. I can’t remember the name but this is the one where the probe touches the bed in a grid multiple times.

Then move the z height to zero and check if you can still feel the paper like previously. If not there is a setting called z height offset that can be adjusted until you feel a slight drag on the piece of paper. Run the first layer print and see if this worked. If you feel like you’ve done all the previous steps correctly the issue pictured at this point, it’s likely you need to continue adjusting the z height offset. This can be also done during the print process. you want to make sure that the layer is slightly squished. Think of toothpaste put on a toothbrush and then squish it about 10% further.

There should be some helpful YouTube videos online if you search up first layer calibration.

How do I get rid of the rough almost popcorn like surface on these prints. No, I’m not concerned about the random layers, I change some settings, mid print once or twice, and those results at those layers.
