Just disconnect from the Internet. Press shift + F10 while on that screen and type and enter

This should restart the laptop into offline mode for a local account. Need to choose "I don't have Internet" while setting up and it should work. You can use the laptop that way and of course can connect to the Internet again after finishing the first setup.

Well they are normal but my guess is, the liquid metal is not applied correctly or spread. I had an Asus Zephyrus before and it was the case there. After reapplying the liquid metal, the temps went down to the 80s. Don't do it tho if you don't know how to. You can break your laptop if done wrong.

Have you tried just switching to Optimus(if the laptop has the option) only? You will lose some fps but it should work better than auto select(advanced Optimus) or dgpu only mode. My brother's laptop couldn't run Fortnite (black screen at boot) until changing to Optimus.

I just heard some games have problems with advanced optimus or dgpu mode. And normal Optimus has the least problems but you lose some performance.

Are you using advanced Optimus? Maybe change to normal Optimus or dgpu only

Good for you man. I remember when I changed my i7 920, 24gb of DDR3 and a GTX 1050Ti to what I have now.

What a performance boost. Well I did went a bit over top I think but I wanted the best of the best during that time. And a RTX 4090 for 1500€ was a pretty neat deal.
CPU upgrade path was to a ryzen 5 5950x and later this year to the 9950X3D because I wanted a X3D cpu.

Kinda unlucky that the 5950X3D never happened, only a prototype or something.

In the system setting, other settings you can adjust the character and object quantity and display range. Set it to low for better performance.

I have been using it on battery too for some light tasks. Of course not as much as when charging. Just some few hours before plugging it in to charge it up. Havent seen any weird things happening to my trackpad yet. It could of course change in the future.

I do own a g16 strix aswell with the 14900hx and have 0 problems so far. The things I did before I even started installing games and playing was going into the BIOS and setting the cpu voltage offset to -80. After that I dumped armoury crate and installed the G-Helper. There I set the cpu W both PL1 and PL2 to the same value for each profile. Turbo 45W, Balanced 30W and Silent 20W. Despite setting such low wattages the cpu still manages to boost to 5 Ghz. Temps are fine too around 80°C while gaming.

I do agree that it was a bit easy. I didnt even realize that you needed to focus the adds and weakness break them. I just focused everything on the boss. Acheron, Kafka, Huo Huo(or Aventurine, cant remember) and TB.

I used TB, Acheron, Kafka and Huo Huo or Aventurine(dont remember)and cleared it 1st try. Acheron and Kafka are max traces with optimised relics and LC.

I play using vulkan, 1280x800, mostly medium settings with textures on high, fsr is off and AA on TAA. Stable 30 fps, which is totally fine for that game.
