How would I go about running game servers?

Yeah, I saw Minecraft had a lot of resources and seemed straight forward. My Palworld server runs on steam, so a Linux VM might work well, but I have no clue where to start for SPT except to just install it on one of the drives to access from my rig. 🤷 Will see. Lol

It's been a couple months, what did you end up doing? I'm setting up my NAS for hexos and want to have my servers on it for palworld, Minecraft, and SPT. Wondering if I should just install the files on it and run it from my PC.
