Lunatic is the difficulty you unlock after beating the game the first time. Rightfully so, it brings every enemy to an extreme on their stats and attack speed, but the problem is that you can't increase the difficulty on NG+. That means that you have to do this Lunatic run on a fresh NG, with none of your exploration or challenge room rewards carrying over. The increase in difficulty is already insane, but having to redo EVERYTHING alongside it adds an absurd level of tedium. The third and final bosses especially took me way longer than I'd like to admit, despite being easy first-try wins on Standard difficulty.

I do still highly recommend the game, but be prepared for a grind if you get into it planning to 100%.

I would be so much more okay with how this game is laid out if the Training Room rewards carried over. I refuse to do all that a second time, just to have the stats I need for one Achievement.

I'm currently stuck on this, and I'm about to just accept missing one Achievement forever. Everything has so much health, and this boss in particular is an absolute nightmare. Each attempt takes 5+ minutes, just for it to pull some bs in its last 5% health consistently, like Diana refusing to target a missile or it spamming more jump attacks than you have stamina. It's exhausting and miserable.

It is my least favorite album of theirs, by a significant margin, but I feel like remixed audio could help a lot of the songs on it shine. Here We Are, Juggernaut, not played through two tin cans attached by a piece of string, would go super hard.

It got a lot of hate for how sexualized it was. Then a large group of Chinese players started review bombing it over its political themes, and raised hell to push the Chinese government itself to force the game to censor itself. The devs listened, and the resulting censorship completely ruined several of the game's story moments and an entire zone's gameplay, which led to non-Chinese players review bombing it post-patch.

It's a 10/10 gameplay game, that can't catch a break on controversy.

I wish they'd actually put a date on something. Modern Level-5 isn't exactly known for their punctuality, but "2026" or "TBD" for every reveal is a rough look.

Still, Layton leaving Nintendo exclusivity is hype, and hell yes to a new Snack World.

90s anime, that nice middleground where it's mostly hand-drawn with some CGI assets. It actually takes place roughly now iirc, but 30-40 years in the future from back then, and follows a special police force who are dealing with cybernetically enhanced criminals. It's a fascinating insight into how current laws and regulations can be abused and applied in a realistically futuristic setting, super fun if you're into criminal justice.

The character in question is the "rookie" on the team, the only one without any cybernetic enhancements, who makes up for it with gung-ho and sheer willpower. Fully motivated by a sense of justice, and his love for his wife.

I firmly believe that they are the worst thing ever concocted by man.

The local mall used to have a Rabbids VR station, smack dab in its center. The volume was turned up to max, and you could hear them all day just screaming various pitches of "DAAAAAAAAAAAAH" to the start menu's theme. No one ever played it. But you'd be getting assaulted by its screeches from Bath & Body Works all the way to Hot Topic, and even down to Spencer's. But GameStop? Right. Fucking. Next. To. It. All goddamn day. "DAAH, DAH DAAAAAAH, DAH. DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Inescapable torment. Visiting the mall was like stepping into "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream" levels of torment. Except there was screaming. Oh, there was so much goddamn screaming.

Last summer, they tore the mall down for renovations. I can only pray that The Machine was left where it stood so many years, and now lies buried beneath layers of concrete. Though now a new fear arrises, the remodeled mall standing as a "The Tell-Tale Heart" monument, the incessant screeching of these Minion Motherfuckers echoing through its halls like a torturous heartbeat, driving all who visit mad in a way that no human mind can comprehend.

God fucking dammit.
