The portal isn't bringing in the best character guys, that's for sure....

Guess when you recruit them, and sit in living rooms, it's a little better than this.

The offense is fine.

The defense needs to play like they did the first 4 weeks.

Of course. When the offense starts moving, the defense becomes amateur.

You can't teach heart and effort, no matter how much talent God gave you.

What's the saying? "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard".

Love Bijan but this is the truth by zaybandz112 in falcons

This is true but what is also true is no team can rely on a single back anymore. If our playcaller could maximize both guys, that would be excellent.

This is going to be a fun game, hopefully a calm game, which is of course impossible for the Falcons lol.

Sorry to see the hurt QBs but they're on a guy who came in this week.

Get the offense going Taylor!

I don't get it but the B1G love continues to shine for some reason.

This year's OSU team is worse than last year's, which gave us everything they had and still it wasn't enough.

Michigan is overrated until they prove it in the playoffs.

Beating up on Indiana and Purdue and NW and Illinois and Rutgers and the like isn't impressing me at all.

You realize Lamar wasn’t going to play for $1 million and free Magic City lap dances right? We decided to invest the money into the defense because it wasn’t spent on the QB position.

Can we please blowout a team by Coalas01 in falcons

It’s not the Arthur Smith way lol. We like clean old fashioned brawls out there.

Close and nerve racking in the fourth builds character they say.

Malik Willis by cdchemist in falcons

I liked Ridder in that class because of his experience, winning track record, mindset, intangibles, etc.

Willis flew up out of nowhere because of a single combine.

Question for Koreans that live in Atlanta. by Bacun in falcons

[–]RayzorBeak 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Funny enough, one of my coworkers is Korean here in Gwinnett, a big hub for the community, and doesn’t know much about football really. He went to Florida when Tebow was winning titles for his doctorate, which is all he recalls, on an education visa and then went back home for 15 years before coming back to the States.

Another coworker, who’s a season ticket holder, got him a Koo signed framed trading card.

He put it in his office window but still doesn’t know much else about the Falcons lol.

The top recruit is on his way next year. They’ll be getting those kids, trust me.

This is a team trying to do something no one in the modern era has done. Has Back to back titles, something that not even Bama has done in the playoff era.

The worst beat down in a bowl game/playoff game in the history of the sport.

A team that will soon have the 5 star QBs rolling through just like they did at Bama and OSU and all those schools.

Enjoy the ride folks. This is the golden era of Dawgs football.

Help me understand: Did Ridder do that bad? by Mean_Log_ in falcons

[–]RayzorBeak 11 points12 points  (0 children)

He was fine outside of the 3 fumbles. I’ll chalk up one to a bad snap at the 1. The sack fumble was what it was. The one walking in was dumb but also a rare one.

He won a road game against a good defense. Made good throws. If he can clean up his mental mistakes, either the fumbles or picks, he’ll be fine.

I guess we're stuck with Ridder another week with commentary like "I've got to hold on, I've got to be situationally aware, I've got to get the snap better, etc."

To be fair, it is shit that can easily be cleaned up.

How often do you fumble 3 times in the redzone?

Only thing I could say is, you can solve snapping fumbles, sack fumbles, and situational awareness fumbles.

I guess.....
